1. What is the Character Pool?
Something that is different here then in other Fan Guilds is the idea of a "Character Pool" rather then individual Characters. Here characters are the property of the guild rather then of the individual. If you visit the [Profiles] section you will find a list of characters available for your use.
1.1 May I use
As long as it doesn't say [PC] on the profile, absolutely!
1.5 What is this [GS] I see on the Stickied profiles?
[GS] denotes characters created by members of the Guardian Sprite Council. Unlike other characters, these characters DO belong to these members, and you need their prior permission to use them.
1.6 Guardian Sprite Council?
The GS Council is the primary decision making body of the guild.
1.7 How do I get on the Council?
There is nothing you can do specifically to become a part of council. It's a by-invite-only position. If you want to someday be a part of it, contribute significantly and consistently to the guild and you're likely to be invited. It won't happen quickly, but if you come to every meeting, consistently give helpful feedback, maybe pick up a job in our open jobs thread, and never cause drama, you're likely to be invited.
1.8 So I can't use GS characters at all?
Just get permission first. As long as you're not butchering the character, most people don't mind. In fact, you already have my permission to use Sailor Black Moon. (Frankly if I don't like what you do, I'll just change it. wink )
2. If I use a character, is what I make her do Cannon?
Anyone may RP or write about any character in the pool, but once done those RPs/Fanfiction must be submitted to the council. Once checked and cleared by the Council, it will become an official part of our cannon. (Assuming no changes are needed first)
3. May I make a new Character?
Most likely yes. But come to a meeting and discuss it with us. We love helping develop new characters. It's half the fun!
4. May I make a Sailor
Probably not. This Guild is for rainbow senshi. You may however use your non-rainbow senshi charactor in RPs labeled [Random] if the thread owner allows it.
5. May I make a Male Sailor Scout?
No. You may however make a male Knight.
6. May I make female Knight?
Yes actually. Since one of the methods of generating a Knight is a Romantic link, female Knights are quite possible.
7. May I make a Chibi?
No. Senshi-hood is not hereditery. You can be small, cute and pastel if you so desire, but not a chibi. To read more about Chibi's, Children and power inheritence read this.
8. May I make a Character from the future?
No. Time travel may be introduced in the future, but for now, we're treating it as impossible.
9. May I make a Character from another planet?
No. We decided early on that everyone would be a human from earth.
10. May I make a Character another species?
No. Well at least not a scout. Villians and other misc work well as aliens.
10. How does retirement work?
In season 2, the scouts will discover that the power of a deceased senshi will find it's way into another compatible host. The new senshi will have all the same senshi name, fuku, weaponry, powers and abilities of the old senshi. Latter we discover that this process can happen voluntarily without death.
11. Can I make the son/daughter/other relative of
No. They do not exist in our timeline. Sorry.
12. Can I make from another country?
Yes! But bear in mind most of the action will be centered in vegas.
13. Can I make a normal person?
If you really want. Nothings wrong with a Molly or andrew or two. smile
13. Can I make a guardian?
Maybe. Talk us into it. We like to keep the pets to a minimum.
14. Can senshi be reincarnated?
Nope. Powers pass on to another person when you die.
15. Can senshi be supper dupper old?
Nope. We decided on natural life spans.
16. Can senshi pass on my abilities?
Yes! Through a special process senshi can release your power to seek out a new host. This is however a huge event that needs to be cleared.
17. Can a senshi be evil? twisted
Temporarily. smile
Not unless we advertise for a villain. If we do "hire" you to play a villain, bear in mind evil characters have a limited life span. You will either die or be turned good, or rendered powerless by the end of the season. Additionally you will be required to be SUPER active during your scenes and follow directions of the crew. Additionally, if you're not active enough, crew will have to force your actions in-between your posts. (In other words, post for you). Or take over your charactor all-together.
18. Can I just be a @#$@#$ then?
Absolutely! Everyone loves characters like Uranus and Neptune. Just remember, you're still a good guy, even if you're miss guided.
19. Can my fuku have a _________
Our basic requirements for Fuku design is that
a) The primary color is your color.
b) Secondary colors are related or the same colors. (Red might have burgandy bows and a red skirt. But blue wouldn't fit)
c) Your first Season Fuku will be the same design as the Season 1 Fukus seen on the Anime.
d) Your Fuku may evolve slowly away from the basic Fuku as we go through seasons. You may use the Standard progression seen in Cannon, or create your own as long as it flows.
20. May I start a RP here?
Absolutely! We welcome Random RPs. But read this first.
21. What is the "God Rule"?
We are not anti-religion here, but for the sake of RP, we must insist that no God, Goddess or other religious figure be proved in RP or lore. They can be referenced, so your characters can be religious, attribute events to supernatural causes, ect. But we can't have Jesus, Budda or angels showing up, otherwise provide proof of their existence. That doesn't mean they don't exist....but we all need reasonable doubt.
