RS Sailor Green
Since we're setting up that Knights receive power similar to the Season 2 senshi, and also that romantic ties between senshi and knights are frequent, I think it would make sense that if a Knight and a Senshi were to reproduce, that child would have inherited some of the power of his/her parents. But yes, instead of being "Chibi Violet" or "Mini Pink" or whoever, the child could be a similar or a sub-color. Or something else entirely, if the senshi and knight that get together aren't both of the same color. (Say Yellow has a child with the Yellow Knight, and the daughter becomes Sailor Goldenrod. But then she has a son by the Indigo Knight, and the son becomes the Navy Knight. You know, or something.)
I really don't like the idea of inheritance. Because these abilities aren't genetic, I don't see how they could be passed down. I could see some magical influence on the children. Like if Sailor Red had a kid, her child might have flaming red hair despite not having genetic disposition for it. Or might display a knack for 'faith healing' which everyone except the parents assumes is given by god, but Red would know where it really came from. Full blown Senshi abilities just because who your parents are? meh. Not to mention, humans bread faster then celestial bodies. Kinda causes a problem of logic.
I don't mind children of senshi becoming senshi, but I don't care for the idea of inheritance. Inheritance suggests that the power is genetic... which it's not. We should not be standing around at the hospital going, WEEEE a new senshi is born! There should be no guarantee. Increased probability for sure... being around magic makes you prone to the side effects of magic.
And they've hinted that Senshi attract other senshi, even before they are conceived. IT's not inconceivable that a star-seed would favor being conceived in another senshi. We should be all on egg shells waiting to see who's kids become senshi who's don't.
Even if they don't have starseeds at birth, If these children are around us for long enough periods of time, we've already have 2 Senshi creating events, it's not unlikely for more to occur, possibly effecting our children.
But we should be careful how we treat
sons. If we don't pay attention to who's giving birth to whom, we might end up with a generation where the knights are all brothers of their senshi. Which, while not bad per say..... is kinda boring if it happens that way 90% of the time. I'd like to see lots of variation in the next gen.
