Thanatophobia or Agliophobia- The fear or death or pain.

I have extreme Arachnephobia. It's terrible.
Every time I see a spider, no matter what it is, I break down into a mass fit of crying and hysteria. Or I just completely freeze up.
I live in the northern California(away from all belived bimbos and other stereotypes), in the middle of the countryside on the coast, so there are spiders everywhere.
I went to get ready for a dinner on my birthday, and when drew back the shower curtain, I saw a wolf-spider the size of my fist.
It completely ruined my day.

The only person in my house who doesn't have arachnophobia is my mother, but bless, she's the laziest bint on the planet, so she'll either force me to deal with it, or - most commonly - send my dad in with his trusty slipper. I'm a lot better than I was, but last year was a "bumper" season for spiders in the UK, apparently, and they all grew much bigger, and their population increased dramatically.
