ImitiqwertOliverqwertyChuck "The final battle's coming up. Long story short, if we don't attack now everybody's screwed. From what the Thunder guild's leader said we're pretty much screwed anyway even if we attack, but it's worth a shot." Oliver had no fears of losing or dying. It simply didn't occur to him that that was a very much real possibility. He'd been up against unfavourable odds before and he'd never once been truly defeated. Surely this would be just another one of those times. And besides, he'd seen his comrades and fellow guild members in action. If his observations were worth anything, each guild member was probably worth five soldiers at least. He wasn't sure about the enemy commanders, but overall he was rather more optimistic than Tempest indicated herself to be. "Well, as much as I happen to like my skin, the Guilds probably need every fighter they can find. So count me in." As Oliver had said, it was worth a shot. However, Chuck was less certain of his chances of survival than Oliver was. They were, after all, likely going up against a god-creature and his most powerful minions. If they maximized their chances of winning by having as large a force as possible, it stood to reason that each individual fighter had a greater chance of survival. Therefore, in the long run heading out was a better option than not. And hey, maybe they could fight and kill that Eevee along the way. "I agree. Let's go."

Swiftly the Espeon moved to stand next to Epitaph, a quiet nod given to Fang as the Thunder Guild advisor stepped to Tempest's side. The Pikachu had lifted her hand in a forced wave, a smile plastered on her face that was merely a mask to hide her apprehension. When Fang finally came within range of her Tempest raised her arm and grabbed the Raichu's paw in her own without a sound. Whatever misgivings she had before suddenly all fell down to her shoulders to force them down into a slump, her usually confident posture crushed under the weight. Both blue eyes scanned the room, half of the Pokemon here were only kids themselves. Regardless of rank or experience, they had yet to fully live their lives. They were new, they didn't deserve to deal with this problem.
The legendary listened without expression although inwardly he was seething with muted fury. "We can only hope he doesn't have the Psyhic relic at least." The Mewtwo's further comments were drowned out by the sudden influx of members into the main hall and he paused momentarily to glance around with a grim smile. "Most." Archer repeated and then slowly shook his head. "No, I'm expecting them all to die. There's just no way, although being restored to life has its downsides. You're not as powerful as you were before. So, yes, we have some advantage since Eri insisted on restoring them all. Had he settled for a select few they'd be at more power since Neon would have been able to dedicate more energy into their restoration." This went for the Mewtwo as well, and he narrowed his eyes in thought. He'd not be as useful as originally and he cast his gaze to the Mew hovering overhead with it's tactful comments. He'd never been fond of Mew as a general idea. Legacy had been the only one he'd tolerate and that had mostly been for Alfred's sake since the Gardevoir considered him a friend. Archer? Not so much. His only response to the other legend was to ignore it. "Arceus on high, miracles do exist." The Mewtwo blinked in confusion and turned to find himself face to face with the cheerful gaze of a Garchomp crouched on the ground to be at eye level with him. How the hell Raith managed to sneak up undetected was beyond him, but Archer was no less please, and mildly surprised, to see him. "...Raith. What are you doing here?" The dragon-esque Pokemon wagged his shark-finned tail and suddenly reached out both winged front limbs to drag the legendary into a bone-crushing, awkward hug. "ARCHIE~ I'm so glad to see you! I'd heard you died, but here you are!" "...choking me..." "When I got Alfred's letter I was sure I'd never see you again!" "...dying..." "I should have never left you insane kids alone at the guild! Arceus knows what would have happened if I wasn't called! The entire world might have beendestroyed!" "....can't-" "OH, sorry!" Realizing he was possibly killing one of their best bets at survival the Garchomp let go and Archer had to restrain himself from chucking Shadowballs at the ground type in anger. "I will explain everything to you later. We have a world to save apparently." "Righto! Ivan is with the tribe. He'll meet us there."
"Uncle Solaris!" "Dad!" Two voices arose from the west wing and two blue blurs, albeit of different hues, rushed toward the Espeon whose name had been called in one way or another. Ivy and Ami stood a few feet apart before the Pyshic, the Vaporeon looked concern while the Glaceon seemed otherwise. Quite the opposite actually, she was excited. "We're going with you!" The Ice type proclaimed, sticking her head up in a proud stance and seemingly speaking for Ami as well though the Water Type didn't seem too fond of the idea. Solaris' mouth was open to tell them otherwise when Moonfall dashed into the room, seconds behind his young charge and her cousin. "Solaris, I just got word from the tribe. They'll meet us there." The Psychic turned to the Umbreon and gave a slow nod before redirecting his gaze to Ivy as she glared at him. "Don't tell me to stay. You're NOT my father, I don't need to listen to you and why would I leave the fate of the world to everyone else when I'm equally a part of it." Espeon and Glaceon locked eyes before the former gave a sigh and a quiet nod. Victorious, Ivy turned to seek out a friendly face in the crowd of gathered Pokemon and spotted the familiar black and white lump of a Flareon. "Ver!" In moments she'd dashed from her family to the fire type with a smile, despite the ominous air of the room. She danced past the Pokemon with their heads held low in despair to reach the Flareon. Ami watched her cousin before turning to her father with an expression of worry. "...hey dad? What happens now?"
The Espeon didn't look at her, instead he kept his focus directed forward into space. "I'll tell you when I figure it out."
It seemed now the guild members who would brave the fight ahead were present. He had hoped for better numbers, but he couldn't force anyone to fight if they didn't want to. "I hope everyone is ready." The Sun guildmaster said, voice surprisingly calm. "There is no going back after this point, once I teleport us there you must fight with everything you've got or you will not survive. Should you find it to much you may run, no one would look down on you for it." And this was it. One teleport and they'd be outside the Tower of Origins. A full frontal assault. 'Not exactly our original plan but...it beats lying down and dying like cowards.' He waited patiently for any complaints, any objections, any changes of heart. Seeing none his teleport lashed out, fizzled and cracked into existence and spiralled around the guild to take them to their final fight against Eridanus and his Elite.
"NO. JUST NO." Harley's voice was a roar of anger as she shoved Cheshire out the door with a fierce nudge. "None of us are staying! We're all leaving now! I won't....I won't lose another like Kit. Fiorin, stop this nonsense and come on!" The Pikachu stood in the doorframe while the rest of his team waited for him anxiously in the hall. His arms were crossed, mouth a tight line. "I am fighting with the guilds." Came his calm and assured response and the Mightyena hurled obsceneties at him until she was breathless. "...we may all die. How can I stand myself if I don't at least try to defend my friends? My family? The guilds that took us in? You do as you will, Harley. My mind is made." Without waiting for a reply the Pikachu turned and dashed down the hall, his green scarf billowing like a comet tail behind him. "FIORIN!" He ignored the shouts, the cries of alarm. He knew what was needed and as he burst into the main hall to feel the tug of a teleport, he knew he had no regrets about his decision.
(From this point no one is permitted to ADD any more characters to their roster in the chapter. Who you have with you is who you get to fight with. None of your other characters can join in later.)
A NEW THREAD IS ABOUT TO BE POSTED. Feel free to make a post here of your team being teleport but they will arrive in the other thread.

 Tolin & Serrin
Tolin felt himself stiffen slightly as he heard Arceus's words. He had considered the possibility, ever so briefly, but he had always ignored it. It would've done him little good to muse on the subject at the time and there was nothing to gain from it now. No, no. Don't think about it, stay calm. Be cool. Mechanical. There's things you can do even now, if you just think. There's always something you can do. Screaming like a child won't help, least of all now; if you want answers, demand them later. There was something you could do, there was always something you could do. The Scyther glanced around, his face expressionless and his movements clunky. Serrin glanced off in the direction he was heading and, knowing what his intent was, followed close behind.
They had been lucky, in a lot of ways. The battle had been brief, violent and bloody without a window for either to get involved in any meaningful way; there was only so much an two old men (one in the body of a child) could do. All the same, they had a surprisingly low number of dead. Picking up the pieces would be that much easier. It was a good victory in most ways, and though surprising it was all extremely simplistic given the explanation. It had all been planned--of course it would be simple. He had prepared living weapons to guarantee the result of the fight. There was no way it would be anything but. It had been an outstanding victory for the guilds. For Tolin, that wasn't quite the case. Any chance of recompense for the damage done had been lost. As it had all been planned, there would be little help from Arceus. No, he had been left only one very small victory for him which he quietly advanced on as he shifted through the pokemon around him.
Tolin stepped down onto one knee and gently moved his scythes under the Lopunny formerly known as Ebony. "Help me, please." A bundle of vines quickly slipped under and around his scythes to ease the weight as he picked up the ball of fur. She wasn't terribly heavy, but unlike Alfred in the past she wasn't unconscious so he couldn't simply carry her over his shoulder. As the teleport carried through and the members were returned unceremoniously to their home, Tolin teleported himself and his two companions off elsewhere in the ensuing, joyful chaos. There were none waiting here for him, not milling about in the guild. Now was the best time to simply disappear, before fangs of vengeance could come to bare. Perhaps the Lopunny had crimes to answer for, but the Scyther had other plans.
First, the team room. Alfred likely wasn't there, but he could leave Ebony there for the time being. By now, he had probably been moved elsewhere by Minerva, not that it would be terribly hard to find out where. The words Tolin hadn't even taken the time to note echoed quietly in his mind. A few months have passed.

& & & & ( Alaisdair & The Raven & GOOP & Ravi & Joey )Ravi watched from afar as Joey and his companions left silently, as they had intended to. There was a moment of hesitation, but it washed over quickly as they made their way to the teams room. Two months, what would they say? Oh, no, we aren't dead at all, sorry. Were they just going to knock on the door and ask for acceptance? This they would deal with later, Joey looking from side to side every now and then as if trying to find something.

"Oh, the little strawberry won't be happy with me..." the furret flicked his tail, his pink stripes fading into existence before the rest of his black fur did. He hit himself on the head with one of his little paws, "Told to keep watch over one boy and I lost him...what a bother..." he was sure he was alive though, that'd get him at least a pat on the back. Some effort points for trying. He'd hate to see her disappointed, that'd make him sad...
No, He'd linger around for a little longer. It wasn't urgent he return anyways. :: :: :: ✗ Senka :: Louvell :: Fredrick :: Saraph✗Senka looked around, letting out a deep breath. She wa more or less relieved this ordeal was over, and Ren would be happy to know that she was alive and well! She glanced over at Louvell and Fredrick, yawning. "Man am I tired." there wasn't much on her mind now besides sleep. She could care less about all the legendaries and such at this point, she had done what she came to do and she had no more reason to stay.
Under normal circumstance she would have left a note detailing her return to the travelers life, but this time was...different. The body of the Ralts over her shoulder gave a soft groan, and she adjusted his position, though it didn't fix much. "Fredick, a favor please?" The gothorita smiled, "Its no trouble! I'll take him off your shoulders~!" he chimed, picking up the smaller psychic and hoisting him up over his shoulder. Senka brought a hand up to rub her own, "Thanks. I'll make sure to explain to Basil how good of a member you'd make, I'm sure he'd let you stay"
Fredrick looked over at the black haired ralts, rubbing his free hand over the striped scarf hanging from his neck. An image, however hazy, came to his mind - this boy was in a team, he was sure of it. Now, what team it was, that was a mystery. They'd have to wait until he stirred to ask him. Another odd thing, however, was the body. Fredrick felt it to be warm, abnormally warm, a fever? that was only in the head though. Besides, this ralts looked totally fine...
...so why did he feel like he was carrying a sack set on fire?
He shrugged it off, following behind Senka and Louvell as they made their way back to their team room.

EbonyEbony twitched, sensing the rising tension and anger around her. She could hear someone's voice, so loud in her head that it nearly hurt. The headache confused her, the little Lopunny having problems trying to figure out exactly what was going on around her. She was just so confused... She just couldn't make sense of it, and although the pain in her chest was gone, the headache remained even after the voice left her mind. The shiny female was scared and tired. She just wanted to curl up and hide somewhere, and all of the panic around her didn't help matters.
Still hiding her eyes behind her fluffy paws, she didn't notice the shadow which was cast across her, or the figure that stood tall overhead. In fact, it wasn't until she felt the vines tightening around her waist, and the solid form of arms on either side of her that she realized she was being held. She trembled a little, unsure of what was going on, but the Scyther seemed calm and that was okay. She reached up, reaching her arms around his neck and clinging there for a few moments as he Teleported them elsewhere.
She was quickly settled down onto an old, cushioned armchair, and the child-like rabbit reluctantly let go of the small comfort that was another person. Instead, a small tug dragged the nearby pillow into her lap, and she curled wearily around it. Whether or not she knew where she was, it was warmer and quieter here. She didn't have to worry about anyone scary or loud. Clutching tightly to the pillow, she just stared silently at the Scyther and his Ivysaur companion.

Finian separated himself from the lot of the caravan of sorts as the guild made it's way back home in hopes of finding it, well, still in one piece. Relatively on his own like this, the Absol wasn't quite aware just yet how long exactly he had been gone. His understanding was that they were out in battle for roughly 24 hours or so plus travel time. Sure he was tired, sure his body ached, but there was certainly no sign of two months of strain on his quadruped shoulders. He had yet to catch on to the distortion. He walked alone; he had a lot to evaluate on his own anyway. Though he was no aura reader like those on his team, the presence of others would only add conflicting emotions to his own self reflection that he simply did not need in this moment. His head often hung low as he walked. There certainly was no regret, at least not now, looming over his actions through out the course of the day/these last few months. Even though his god revealed to him and all others present that their efforts were practically worthless, a game of sorts, he could not deny the fact that he enjoyed the battle. The pacifist that he thought he was, was slowly dissipating and he was willing to embrace this much at least for now. One could say, throughout all of this, one thing that remained true would be his state of emotional ********, ever present and mostly whiny and pouty. He didn't understand his own character in the slightest at this point but he truly wished to find his place nonetheless. The fortunately still standing walls of his guild were in sight.
"We thought you were dead." A familiar voice pervaded the air before the figure of a Celebi appeared beside him. Not that they Psychic type knew how to directly use his powers to teleport, rather there was a sort of taboo, roundabout way of tearing a hole in spacetime that he didn't like to do often that sufficed. The fact that he used this way of revealing himself meant that something was up other than just a casual greeting from a friend. Yes, one could say at this point that the two were in fact friends of the highest quality. At least Ein seemed in a better mood now in comparison to what the Absol last saw him in. It still hasn't clicked yet that such a significant amount of time has passed. "Yeah, yeah, but we're back now. It wasn't that bad." Finian spoke of his experiences rather vaguely, looking around as he hit the word "we" only to find it hardly applicable in his current, vagrant state. "No...Seriously. Services have been held for you along with any other missing that the majority of the teams have given up hope by this point. Finny. Dear. You've been gone for a good few months now. We would have packed up your stuff and gotten rid of it if you had anything really to begin with." The Absol stared blankfaced. "What?...Dear hell, just another sick joke courtesy of Arceus probably. " "I haven't told the rest of the team yet that you're back. Sensed your presence in the area and caught word of a few other returnees but I don't think any of them have a hint of hope as of right now. I'll let you handle that; come back and surprise 'em." Ein kept on rambling, not even quite answering the vague "what?" presented to him. "Thanks..." Finian responded, his curt reply laced with a hint of sarcasm. He wasn't even sure why that came out as it did; he was truly glad to be home, just it was odd to hear how much he was missed. Even though it wasn't even much, it truly meant something to him.

      Victor - Harumi - Aiden - Doku - Maxi - William
With a flash of light, the Guild Pokemon had returned to their kingdom, safe and sound. Nonetheless, many of them were still rather shaken up. They had all just been through one hell of a battle. It seemed like hours to them, but to the other members of the guild who hadn't come along for the brawl, it was two whole months.
The first to leave the area was Maxi. The Toxicroak was not in the mood for anything that wasn't sleep. Maxi glanced around before turning to Doku, giving a gentle nod. "I'll see you back at ze' room. I need to lay down and die for a little 'vile," The Toxicroak explained. Maxi bent down and gave Doku a quick rub on the top of the head before strolling out of the room.
The next little exciting thing to happen involved a pissed off little Aron. "Where have you all been, you bastards?!" William exclaimed as he ran into the room. The Aron had only just been around the corner sweeping a bit of dust out of the hallway when the Guild members arrived. "I was literally doing a last sweep before I left this place! Why didn't you send any postcards?!" William had been all alone this entire time in the team room of Team Dropkick. He had to take care of the entire place for two whole months while his teammates were gone.
Victor was the first to step forward to William, followed by Aiden. Both knew that at the moment, Harumi wanted and needed to be either alone, or with her sister. "We know you've probably had a rough couple of months, William. I'm sorry for that, and I thank you for keeping things neat and tidy in my absence. Come, we really need to relax a bit..." Aiden, Victor, and William all three left together, leaving only Doku and Harumi.
Both Eeveelutions went directly to Skye, as expected. Harumi was dead silent, staring at the ground as she approached her sister alongside her father. Doku was very shaken up, but looked at his eldest daughter with an expression of happiness and pride. "We owe you a thank you for saving our lives, Skye. I'm sorry I doubted you, you truly can handle yourself. Although..." The Leafeon smirked. "If you ever do that again, my old heart will probably fail on me. Try not to kill your father, alright?" Doku leaned forward, brushing his tongue along Skye's forehead in a loving manner before he turned around to leave his daughters alone.
Harumi didn't really know what to say. She was shy about her new appearance, as well as stunned with the events that had just recently taken place. So many things were running through the Espeon's head, but only one of them was vocalized. Probably the stupidest of Harumi's thoughts, as well. "So... I-I guess you don't need me to teach you how to fight anymore, huh...?" She whimpered softly. The Espeon's bottom lip had begun to quiver. It was obvious that all of the emotions from the battle had begun to hit her all at once. Whether this was due to her mental state or her new Psychic abilities, she did not know.

Skye & ZoriZori merely stared, the fur along the back of her neck beginning to prickle in a mixture of unspoken rage and unease. He had risked the lives of so many innocents just to gain for himself. The god in which their world had come to worship was certainly less than pleasing to meet in person. She found that she didn't much like him, though she supposed that she had little choice in the matter regardless. Arceus was who he was, and they had to make the best of their lives, whatever plans he might have in store for tem. They had overcome it, somehow, and at last the world seemed to have come to some sort of peace with itself. Finally.
Legacy materialized out of the air, and her anger vanished almost immediately. The Leafeon stood still as stone, her golden eyes wide with a mixture of shock and remorse. He was alive. Legacy was alive. She couldn't decide how to feel about it, but nor did she had the luxury of time in figuring it out. He was here, and there was little else to say about it. Standing at her mate's shoulder, she dipped her head ever so slightly, pressing her muzzle quietly to his ivory-furred neck. If one were paying attention, they'd come to the realization that she was crying. Out of joy, relief or sorrow, even she herself didn't know. It was just a long day, and she was eager to be done with it all.
- - - - -
Skye stood weakly near the edge of the group, staring upward into the ceiling of the guild's main hall. It was a familiar place to return to, but it was clear that a considerable amount of work had been done in their absence. The place was spotless, for one, as opposed to the amount of dust that normally coated everything like a winter blanket (it was kind of gross, actually). Everything had since been restored, from the time of their last battle. Exhausted, she merely sat down, watching from a distance as the other guild members took a few moments to figure out just where they were and what had happened. It was a realization that seemed to creep up on the crowd, and the emotional tension around the group seemed yet to have fallen away. It was confusion on all accounts, and it was only to worsen with the approach of other guild members, who now appeared at the top of the grand staircase.
There was nothing but shock and confusion on the faces of their teammates, and for a moment, all was quiet. The moment passed quickly, and a mixture of relief and resentment was clearly visible between the gathered Pokemon. Why hadn't they come back sooner? They were alive! How could they have survived? We checked the tower over and over again! They're home! You left us!
There were so many accusations and voices layering one over another that it was a tangled mess of confusion. The Eevee merely watched with a solemn expression, taking in the sight of her guildmates flooding the stairs as they rushed to greet their returning family members. She didn't see her own, as of yet, but she knew that the reunion would likely be emotional. The sight of her father and sister pressing through the crowd snapped her from her thoughts, and a pair of uneasy dark eyes stared openly toward both Eeveelutions.
Looking upward at her father, the Eevee twitched her ears nervously. She wasn't entirely sure of where this conversation was headed; she'd technically just destroyed a Legendary Pokemon, along with Ivy. That wasn't a normal accomplishment for an Eevee. She accepted his words in silence, looking at the smooth marble floors beneath her paws, and remaining as such while he rasped his tongue across her forehead. She appreciated it, but... she wasn't sure. Something still bothered her about all of this, and she was too tired to really want anything to do with the conversation thrust upon her. She'd just done it because she could, because she'd had to. She didn't understand it, but she'd done it, nonetheless.
He stepped away, and Harumi was left at her side instead. The Espeon was beautiful, with faintly clouded eyes that reminded her a lot of their mother's. Letting her ears flop wearily on either side of her head, the violet Eevee stood in front of her sister with a rather drained expression. She didn't say anything for a few moments, just pressing her forehead weakly against Harumi's (now much higher) shoulder. She could feel Haru tremble a little, but she wasn't really sure what to say. ”If it's alright with you... I'd rather learn to fight in a way that doesn't tear apart my insides...” she murmured weakly, finally looking upward at the Pokemon beside her. ”When I'm better... that is, if you're still willing, I'd like to actually get started on that training. I'm just so tired...”
She wasn't even holding her breath, at this point. She didn't know of some of her friends had been with her, or even if they'd emerged from the fight alive. Worried for their safety, exhausted from the battle, and burdened by the cloud of guilt and confusion on her mind, she stepped away from Harumi. ”...And Haru? Congratulations.” She managed a tired smile, and turned to limp off toward the grand staircase that led after her retreating teammates.

 Minerva
Soft feet smacked against the ground in quick repetition. Word traveled fast. Lungs would draw in and then exhaust air quickly. Teleportation did that. She was far, far too out of shape. But that didn't matter now. A life of quiet work indoors had left the Vaporeon without real speed or endurance, but that wasn't important. Minerva's chest heaved as she ran down the hall towards the main hall. It was loud, it was noisy, it was the sound of pokemon. She turned the corner and the sight before her was one she could hardly believe. They had returned. Some dead, some wounded, but they had returned. All the pokemon they had sent off returned now, of all times, months later seemingly out of nowhere. It was too good to be true but far too real to be a dream. Minerva's face softened to a smile even as her mouth rebelled in an effort to inhale air. "Solaris..." Finding the Espeon had been easy, finding the air for words was not. "What happened?" For Solaris, the world that was out of focus. They had been betrayed. Or manipulated. Dragged along on some plot they had never agreed to or desired, but all the same had given so much to be a part of. Blood had been shed, so much blood. Many of the guild members that served under him had died or been hurt. He had lost dear, dear family members. The call of the Espeon's name pulled him back to reality. "What happened?" As he thought of the words to say, there was little choice in the smile that came to his face and banished his previous thoughts. "We won." A few tears came to the Vaporeon's eyes as months of accumulated stress disappeared in an instant. "Oh thank god..." The words cut at him slightly. "Thank god". But... now wasn't the time. There were more important things now. Solaris searched throughout the crowd, trying to find the other important individuals who had come along. Big things had just happened. They needed to... talk, or something. Though, even if he looked around Tolin was already gone. So was the Mewtwo. Raith had disappeared somehow as well (how does someone that big disappear) and judging from the chain cussing and the sound of overloading lanterns outside, Tempest had made her own way out. Er... maybe it wasn't time to do anything important. Maybe he could just... go sleep. Yeah, that sounded nice. The speaker system kicked in as Solaris made his way through the crowd and loud words began to ring throughout the guild. "Attention, all guild pokemon. The guild members who left for the Tower of Origins some months ago have returned and are currently in the Main Hall. Medical teams are on their way to treat any injured."
SolarisWell, 'das the end ah' that. The other threads will be moved to the Archive. This thread will stay standing until the end of the weekend, feel free to post the returns of your teams either here or in your respective rooms. There will also (Shortly) be a post in the main forum. Please read it.
