Mariko is a small village along the coast that gather their main income from fishing and selling their goods to other villages who visit the market. Lively and prosperous from their good income, this village is also often stricken by powerful hurricanes, and often comes in contact with Astarot. They must schedule their travels through the sea, when their local sea monster is not present, or is preoccupied for some unknown reasons.

Current Location: On a tree top,west of the forest.
Mood: Rested.
Course of Action Taking: Walking up from a tree branch.
What is expected of him?: To return back to the village; to get food.

The sky is clear, the temperature is cool, and its just the break of dawn. On top of a tree branch lays a Nature Demon. Five feet and nine inches in and weighed one hundred and sixty pounds. He had toned shoulders, and slim arms. He wasn't muscular, but he was decent in size. He carries a small crossbow for attacking from afar, a hand blade for close combat. He has a talent for calling a nearby animal to his aid and heal others with a cost. Thanks to his natural heritage he can run faster and regenerate faster outdoors.

Resting from yesterday's Oni no same hunt.
He slightly turns to his side and falls head first to the ground."Ow!" he yelled. He slowly sits up and rubs his aching head, "I really should stop sleeping in tree branches and rent a room to stay at near by villages." He notices that his pack has spilled and starts to gather his things."There everything all here."

He gets up, dust the dirt of him, pulls out a bolt from his pack and readies it on his small crossbow. He looks around, "There are eyes everywhere...and I doubt they're friendly..." he thought. His stomach starts to grumble and remembers he needs a bite to eat.
"Mariko is east of here. Better start heading that way."

Oni no same Ivaan

Current Location: Near the village.
Mood: Startled and amused.
Course of Action Taking: Dodging the Oni no same's attack with a minor flesh wound.
What is expected of him?: Killing the Oni no same

From the shaded side of a tree the oni no same swipes at Ivaan, causing him to drop his small crossbow and take minor flesh wound. The crafty creature smirk with joy and hunger. It's teeth and jaws covered with it's victims blood.

Thanks to his heritage, he manage to quickly dodge the creature's attack; flesh wound slowly heals.
Startled and a little amused by this creatures crafty little trick.."So it knew that I was better with a crossbow..." He unsheathe's his hand blade quickly. "To bad it didn't know I'm also better with this hand blade.."

The creature rushes in to bite him with its power jaw, but he dodges quickly slashes at it's arm. The creature howled in pain, but it still aim to lock him in its power jaws. He slash's again, but the creature was quick and swipes him away; slamming his back on a tree and dropping his blade in the process. The creature widens it's jaws and rush's in for the kill. Frantic, he grabs a decent size rock and chunk's it in the creature's opened jaw. The Oni no stops in place and creates an awful, raspy, choking sound. Blood and drool slowly drips from it's mouth as it attempts to remove's the rock from its esophagus. With this small time, he grabs his blade, rushes to the creature and say's "Let me help you." He slashes at the creature's neck, as a bonus for his dirty pleasure. He then, twist it's head and pulls it right off.

Exhuasted from his fight, he lay's down for a short while. Then, picks up his crossbow and wipes the blood of the blade before sheathing it. He walks into the town and look started to look for a quick bite before, going back to the forest again.
