I understand that this is a horrible thing,
but I'm completely flabbergasted by the fact that anybody is surprised by it.
Especially here,
considering how in uganda they punish homosexuality with death, and barbaric death at that, including public beatings and setting people on fire

I wasn't surprised when I watched this, this happens all the time and it's been happening to years. People are so uniformed and it's crazy. Sometimes it only takes one person to bring light onto an issue and I wish it would have happened sooner. People should wake up and realize what is actually happening, not only in our own country but others as well.

I shut off the video cause I got bored. Buuuuuuuuut, I read up on it and thats actually where my unit is being deployed in 2014. We'll be going over their to help with the civil war effort against the LRA.

I honestly don't know what this whole movement is about. This actually has been going on for quite a while. It just so happens that someone decided to create a viral YouTube video about it. Furthermore, I guess you're not going to ever meet me. I was already aware of the issue before watching the video, so I closed the link within 47 seconds.

ive only heard about this yesterday in another guild....and reddit. the only thing is why now to talk about it? Doesnt America have its hands full already? we dont need another problem tacked on

Doesnt America have its hands full already? we dont need another problem tacked on We are actually already over there. We have American and UN units in Africa on a humanitarian mission.
