Mr Jes Nadira Mr Jes Nadira Well, saw episode 12 (13 is just a clip show, I will see it later). What did you think of the series? Actually its more then just your average clip show. I'd watch it. ^^ Loved it, way to short (Though it's understandable.) Make a season two!! The last few episodes felt forced. As if they HAD to wrap it up immediately. I thought that they could have had at least 5 more episodes, before wrapping it up. Sorta, but I think it was intentional. Akibaranger just seems like one of those series. I'd like a season 2. Or an official pick up.

When the red ranger was imagining girls in different villain costumes. That was fun. 3. The MILF yellow ranger. That was fun. 4. The really long named villains. And seeing someone attempting to say it. 5. The long-winded yellow ranger roll calls. 6. Hm... I am sure that more will come to me in time. I loved Mashina's costume. I would do that for Halloween, if I could..

It felt like they ":nipped in the bud" the whole entire concept of being an "unofficial sentai" by making it a TV show itself. They really didn't need that. Just the way it was the first half was fine. I didn't need the whole "big brother" aka "Toei is watching us" storyline at all. Just leave it to the imagination. Let them BE. Eeeh.

It might have contributed to the storyline, but I think it also hurt it a little too. I was thrilled to see them henshin in reality, it made since. However what came after it just didn't feel all that developed. That's why I think there should be a season two. Akibaranger is to much of an interesting concept to go to waste.

The whole point of Akibaranger is that it parodies everything in Sentai, everything. There's no way I could see Toei making Akibaranger "official" let alone making the show a parody of itself.
