Grunts and Trainers aren't quite important enough to be put here so we'll just leave them in the PC. If you have a Gym Leader character you cannot have an E4 or named Celestia member. If you have an E4 character you cannot have a Gym Leader or named Celestia member. If you have a named Celestia member you cannot have a Gym Leader or an E4. If you have a Legendary then you cannot catch your own character and you can only have one.
