That’s a hard question. *hums thoughtfully as they begin to walk* It is hard for me to walk past a good chocolate mud cake. But then there is tiramisu as well… Mmm. What about you?

*laughs aloud in surprise* 'Respectfully'? The 'with vehemence' part I completely get. But how can you 'respectfully' decline such an obviously disrespectful invitation from an individual you obviously have no respect for nor anything resembling any such sense of worth?
If you couldn't tell, darling, I prefer blatant, open honesty over politeness and formalities. Which do you lean toward?

Well then I am sure you'll give me a fair price for all of this. Then I would like to take a gander at your other wares, if you'd care to show me.
I tried to get fabric of this quality at another shop and they were just so sub par. You really do have the best i've ever seen.

It is a quite messy and very heavy; but now and then, when I’m alone, I like a bit of mess. *looks delighted by his choice* Oh, that sounds delicious. But now I’m reminded of a raspberry miroir and swooning seems appropriate.

Casanova: Fair is in the eyes of the beholder. *eyes glint, half smile* Naturally I have the best, but I also cost the most. Nearly the most; smuggling goods through Spades often comes with a hefty fee.
The compliment didn't do much, but the idea of prices and bargaining has excited him.

I take my sweets very seriously. I make a point, no matter how busy my day is, to sit down with a cup of tea and a piece of cake. *equally excited* I do know where we can get one. It’s a bit of a longer walk, but it will be worth it.

The more money involved, the more polite and even-tempered he gets, it seems.

Casanova: There are so many... cakes. So many beautiful cakes. *rests one palm against his cheek and tries not to sigh* Thank you for bringing me here... *enters, as soon as the door is opened for him*
He really did not show it much, but every time you gently touched his arm, he felt his heart flutter a little. Like the Red Queen, Casanova is quite well-known for his cold facade, but it seems like the Red Queen has much more capacity for passion than this cold fish. Despite that, he is extremely happy to be with you. He turns around, as if on an afterthought once inside the shop, and hands you a chocolate so precious that it has its own box, a small thing with a gold ribbon and a dark purple paisley print. He hands it to you without a word, and without smiling, but his face is faintly flushed.
SUCCESS! You have wooed Casanova, even if he is still ... very frosty on the outside. Really, there seems to be almost no change in his behaviour. Maybe the fact he hasn't insulted you in a while, or run away irritated, means he likes you a lot?... Anyway, apparently he isn't much of a romantic, but he does want you to have his chocolate.
