Seriously ******** this s**t.
I started getting symptoms last Friday, but they seemed to subside by Sunday. I was fine for Monday and Tuesday.
Then bam, this morning, pain. sad
Old UTI not fully recovered or new UTI? I don't know. But I hate this. But it's not quite so painful this time to warrant me getting any antibiotics for it, so I'm just downing water by the bucketful at the moment. I'll go out and buy some cranberry juice later.
And it sucks because I totally do all the preventative measures you're supposed to and I still get them.
I imagine this is a fairly common problem but what do you guys do? Both to prevent and cure.

I've only had one once in my life and it baffled me for a week what was happening, because it wasn't searing pain, just felt WEIRD AND WRONG.
To this day, I can't even describe the sensation I felt. I'd pee, everything would be fine, then towards the end, it would kinda hurt? Kinda feel tingly? I DON'T KNOW. I didn't know how to describe it to the doctor either. I apologized profusely and explained I'd never felt anything like it and the feeling was so unusual I didn't know how to describe it.
They actually had to test my urine twice to find something wrong. The results originally came back negative and I kinda said something along the lines of WELL SOMETHING IS WRONG. The second test came back and said when a second lab was run, they did find white blood cells, it was just below levels they consider abnormal, (HOW, MY PEE WAS FOGGY) so they gave me horse pills and I felt better.
Or maybe it was a bladder infection? I can never remember which one I had. It made peeing feel bad though.

Also do you pee after you have sex? You should cause that can be one of the causes.

i've had like seven or eight. i stopped getting them after i dumped the boyfriend who kept giving me them. never got one since. except now it's just kind of normal for me to feel slight pain when i pee sometimes. eh.
if you're taking the preventative measures and you're still getting one, maybe talk to your doctor next time you go in for antibiotics? sometimes UTIs subside, but if they don't, then it's best to get some antibiotics before it ******** your system up. i don't understand why you'd still be getting them if you pee after sex.
do you drink enough water? my pee hurts especially when i haven't been drinking much water.

Yeah, I think if my symptoms don't subside by tomorrow I'm going to see my GP and I guess I'll have a talk with her.
But I probably don't drink enough water to be honest.

I ******** hate UTI's I used to get them a lot when I was in school because I would barely drink any water (busy, man) and wait to pee a lot.

Yeah after a week of on and off symptoms, I gave in and got antibiotics for it.

I always go for antibiotics right away. The ONE time I didn't, I ended up throwing up and had to get an IV because my kidneys were going to ******** up or some s**t.

Yeah I probably should.
It was just that this time felt very mild and the symptoms were so on and off, I thought I might be okay fighting it off by myself...but I gave in.
