LifelessSong Kurisu of the Hellfire Well, I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. Over a year ago, maybe around two years ago, I went to a farmer's market and found these two pendents in a jewelry bin. I asked elsewhere and someone else said they were Nordic compasses. All I managed to find was something about elven legend which had me excited. I was kind of hoping I would find help here. sadly right now the brown one is missing. What are they made out of? Sadly I don't know that either, all I know is that the stone is translucent.

First off I can tell you that the likelyhood of these pendants being either Celtic or Nordic is extremely low just by looking at the inscriptions.
Secondly I will ask if the circles in the middle are holes or indentations?
On another note, the greenish one resembles Jade, and as for the Orange-brown one, Jade has been known to come in such colours though it is rarer. Judging by the symbols they seem more like Ba gua the but this can't be right since every inscription I can make out seems to be three horizontal lines in a circular pattern surrounding the main circle in the center, and while the overall piece looks generally ornate it reminds me of a flower.
I'd say that if the symbols were from the Ba gua it'd be the Symbol for the Heavens, and juding by the colour's I'd say it represented the two Heavently bodies, the Moon and the Sun.
Of course I do have a limited knowledge and I could very well be wrong.. This is just my hypothesis, but I would love to find out what they are as well.

I'm not sure how to describe the center piece, it's like a hole wit ha loose stone in it, unable to be removed. Pretty sure they were all one piece before carved.
