He is ALWAYS hungry! He gets really excited when we feed him!

But that's not the problem. He ALWAYS bothers us when we eat. He climbs on chairs, puts his paws on the table and (if we aren't paying attention) his face in our plates. He even stole food! (Vegetables, mushroom, and even a piece of turkey once...)

How do I get him to stop?

You could put him in another room and shut the door while you eat, and try to ignore the piteous mews he makes during that time.

spray him with water when he begs or shake a can of pennies

Doing that in the moment (though it's really hard not to feel bad haha!). Not sure if it'll "cure" him though, but at least it gets him out of the way!

I never heard the penny thing, but the water we've been doing. It hasn't changed anything, though he knows when he's going to get sprayed o_O

Just keep ignoring him, he will eventually get the idea that he is not welcome at meal times. Just remember to be persistant. Good luck! heart
