'Minist Outill... Pretty name.' Vremea thought to herself, a slight smile tugging on the corners of her lips. "You have a nice name as well, Minist." She said, her eyes darting all over the pages for the information that needed finding.
As she skimmed the pages, she thought about how... flirty Minist was getting with her. It felt kind of weird— she'd never really struck people as an atractive troll, just a nice one, which was why she gained so many friends. It just— oh wait, found it! "Here. Second paragraph entirely." She said, pointing to the paragraph that took up around a third of the page. "That should be all, I guess. I'll leave you here to read, I have to check if there are any more trolls that need my assistance." 'It seems peculiar.'

"Woah, already?" Minist asked as she looked up. She hadn't expected the information to be found so soon. Leaning even closer, her shoulder brushing against Vremea's, she peered at the page and scanned the second paragraph. There was a little diagram that looked a lot like the engine she possessed. A smile slowly grew across her face as she began to read. This was good stuff! Now she knew for sure she had to check out this book and bring it home! If not just to help her out with her engine troubles, but think of what else she could learn from this book! Minist was a sponge when it came to information on mechanics.
Pulling the book closer to her she grinned at the pages. Then she turned her head towards her new friend and said, "Vremea, I could kiss you!" Then she blinked, as though an idea had just struck her, and she kissed her on the cheek. She was well and truly grateful for her help, but she still wanted to try to get under her skin. Her reaction to this was sure to be funny. Hopefully she wouldn't just run away to go check on any other trolls that might need her assistance. Though that would be amusing too, to be so flustered she leaves in a hurry. Still grinning Minist carefully watched her for her reaction.

"It's not like it takes 50 years to get some information. I was skimming, afterall." Vremea had said, raising an eyebrow toward Minist and letting herself feel somewhat proud of herself althoguh what she was asked to do was simple— couldn't take more than 5-10 minutes. It wasn't exactly rocket science.
"Vremea, I could kiss you!"
Her eyes widened— only slightly —at the statement, and she shook it off. It's not like she will, calm yourself down Vremea— and it was then that she felt the lips of her new crush friend on her cheek. She was spazzing out in her mind, her face instantly melting from the regular grey of a trolls skin to a yellowish glow. Her eyes went wide as the girl pulled away, and they just stared at eachother.
"I— uh, um, you," That was... oh gog. She exhaled, her face not showing much emotion besides shock. Flustered, her left hand fiddled with her neck bow and her right one played with her hair. She looked down, hiding her face from the yellow that most likely covered all her face."I-I don't... um." She honestly didn't know how to react. She was at loss of words, and usually, she never was. Exhaling to compose herself for the fiftith time, she looked up. "Are you going to c-check out the book?" Damnit. Why were her words failing her??
[oh gog vremmy what is up why are you such a hopeless romantic goodness >:]

Minist resisted the urge to cackle. This was just too precious! Her plan had work flawlessly. The girl was a complete wreak, look at her! Face almost as yellow as a rainbow drinker's eyes, hands fiddling with her hair and bow, voice faltering, it was great! Ah, it always felt so good to accomplish something. Now she could move on. Both her goals had been accomplished for the night. Closing the book she stood up and tucked it under her arm.
"Yeah, I think I will," she said as she smiled at Vremea. "Come on, let's get this over with." With that said she turned and marched off to the front desk where she had first spied her fellow yellowblood. As much fun as Vremea was to mess with she kind of wanted to get back home and curl up in her respite block with this book. Ratmom should be happy. She couldn't think of a way how reading could be dangerous and thus annoy her lusus.

"Okay then."
Gogdamnit. Why was Minist smiling?? Here she was, face flushed yellow and flustered like a school-girl, and there she was, smiling. Mocking her. Vremea turned around and followed Minist, mumbling a few things to herself as she pouted, composing herself. It was just a thank you kiss on the cheek. No need to get flustered. Yeah. It was just a peck. Nothing else was done.
She exhaled, her eyes trailing to the left, looking towards the bookshelves that they passed. What in gog's name was wrong with her? Why wasn't she rationalizing?
Walking behind the desk she always sat at, she looked towards the fellow yellowblood, pointing towards the book in her hand and motioning her to hand it over.
"I'll need the book for you to be able to borrow it, Minist."

Still smiling she placed the book in front of Vremea. Then she placed her elbows on the desk and rested her chin in her hands. Bent over as she was she gave her rump a little wiggle as she hummed a little tune to herself. Tonight was a good night. She was happy with what she had done for the night. It was still fairly early so she had plenty of time to get back home and read through this book. Oh she couldn't wait to soak up all the information this book possessed. She'd do more than take apart that delicate little engine when she was done, she was sure of it. Her fingers tapped the side of her face in anticipation as she closed her eyes and smiled excitedly.
Opening her eyes again she watched Vremea happily. She liked this girl. She wanted to get to know her better. Minist had detected a tiny spark behind the dull librarian manner and she wanted to bring it out to shine. With a little poking and prodding she was sure she'd get a lot of fun out of her. However, she'd need to get her outside of this stuffy old building. Can't have much fun inside a place where you're supposed to be quiet all the time. Fun required being loud! Boisterous even! Maybe she should burst in one night and drag her out for an impromptu vacation? That certainly would be entertaining. Or maybe she should snag her on a day off, less fuss that way.

Taking the book from the counter, Vremea opened it and slid the card in the back out of the pocket that it came in. Minist only needed to sign the card so she could record who was checking out what, as well as use it for proof just in case the person denied ever borrowing the book. "Okay, please sign here." She said, sittin down and grabbing the stamp next to her, putting a spectific date on the card. Typing on the computer that only carried information about all trolls, the kid looked up, realizing something important. "Wait a second." She frowned. "Do you have a library card? I'll need it to scan and find your data. If not, I could make you one right now." She offered, pointing at the computer with a relaxed expression.
After this, she could finally relax. Sketch some designs. Read. Peace at last. Finally, some time to herself. She exhaled and looked at the clock. 9:30. Vremea had to leave soon.

"No prob." she said as she took the card. "Got a pen?" she inquired with a smile. Then she blinked at the mention of a library card. She had never found the need to come to the library before so she also found no need to ever get a library card. Shaking her head she said, "Nope, but I'd be ever so grateful if those dainty fingers of your worked their magic and made me one." Leaning on the counter again she pointed at the mentioned digits with another smile. She wasn't sure if she'd ever really use it again, but if she needed it to get this book she'd get one. Maybe she'd come and check this book out again if she had more problems and this book contained as much information as she assumed from her quick skim. She couldn't remember every word inscriber upon the pages after all.
Having a card would also give her a more viable excuse to come to the library and visit Vremea. Having this card would almost be like an invitation to a party. No one would ask what she was doing in a library if she had a library card. She could sneak around and bug the librarian without anyone questioning her motives. Everyone would just assume she was looking for a book and any interaction with Vermea would just be seen as her asking for help finding something. It was all like some secret spy or a ninja movie playing in Minist's head at the moment. That wasn't to say she would have cared if people did question what she was doing or knew she was just here to mess with people. More power to them. Just the thought of the espionage shenanigans was funny to her.

Vremea hummed to herself as she opened the drawer in the desk, searching for a pen. "Hm... Here you go." She said, pulling it out and placing it on the desk. She nodded softly. "Sure." Letting a he typed quickly on the computer, her fingers gliding off the keyboard with ease. "Okay— you're all set. All you have to do is sign that and wait a few minutes as the computer prints out the card." She pointed to the printer a few yards away from her, leaving to get it unroll it is actually printed, because when it first comes out, it needs to dry the colors and it is extremely hot. She has had experience... urgh.
Vremea looked over to the computer wearily, hoping she hadn't typed anything wrong— the imperial drones were watching her every move on the computer, she couldn't type anything that didn't have the set purpose of helping the library. She could be culled for just typing up stories on the computer— because she was not doing her work. She had to type correctly and focus on not touching the infernal device, otherwise she'd be a goner.

Taking the pen with a smile Minist quickly scrawled out her name on the little card and then handed both it and the pen back to Vremea. "There you go!" she chirped. Then she gaze was directed towards the printer and she heard it kick up and start printing out her library card. She should probably use it as a bookmark when she got it, otherwise she'd probably lose it. Ratmom might even take it and stow it in one of her hidey-holes. It's always a hassle when she does stuff like that. She nags about things getting left around so she just starts taking things for herself. So annoying when Minist actually needed that stuff.
(Blah, short post is short.)

Vremea typed a little more on the computer, and soon after, the printer started up and started printing the library card that was being made. "Excuse me for a minute." She got up, heading over to the printer and waiting for the thick, practically plastic paper to finish drying. Looking up at the clock again, her mouth tightened into a straight line.
9:45. She had to leave, now.
Picking the card up, it being somewhat warm from having recently come out of the printer, she headed back over to the computer. "Wait a second." She sat down and scanned the card with the scan, checking to see if it would work. As it turned out, it did. Typing up the name of the book onto the computer, it popped up onto the screen. "All right. It's done." She handed the card to Minist, half-smiling as she packed up her things. "I hope you like the book. See you again."

Normally she would have stuck around and ask about the sudden packing, maybe make a a quip about trying to get rid of her, but tonight she had a book to read. Again, normally she wouldn't be so eager to read a book, but tonight was a night full of surprises. After stowing her new library card in her mechanics book she rested the book on her hip. "Thanks again. I'll be seeing you around. Later, Vremea." she said with a wink before turning on her heel and waving her hand as she walked to the door. Maybe she could curl up with Ratmom as she dug into this book. It was nice to just sit with her sometimes. Ratmom seemed to enjoy those times as well. Smiling to herself Minist open the door and stepped outside, briefly looking back at Vremea before closing the door behind her.
