  The Reign of Terror is a pack living up to its name. Monsters, murderers, thieves and vagabonds, the pack would risk falling into chaos if not for the strong ruling paw of Chernabog the Goblin King.
For Reign of Terror wolves, the other packs of Telk exist only because they allow them to. In order to prove its superiority over all packs, Reign of Terror sends its Lords and Ladies far and wide to collect tribute. Those who honor the Lord with a gift are allowed to exist in peace. Those who refuse are obliterated. The Order of the Rose is a pack of knightly valor and high honor. Hidden behind a nearly impenetrable wall of thorns and subscribing to a warrior's code of conduct, the pack has survived with no outside threats for a long time. Recently, newcomers have come to the pack, however...and not all of them may have honest motives. Draug Faroth is a forest-dwelling pack of proud hunters. Regarded as rough barbarians by some, these wolves believe firmly in family above all else. Their society may be less refined than some of their neighbors, but they are powerful hunters and strong warriors in their own right. --- These three packs are set on a collision course of epic proportions. Will the Reign of Terror obtain the favors they seek to collect from these packs? Or will they refuse, leading to a full-scale war for domination? And what happens to the wolves caught in the middle? It's up to you to find out!

What is This?
Originally conceived as a multi-pack plot, the RoT war has expanded to meta-plot type proportions. Fenshae, seeing an opportunity decided to help organize the plotline into a real shop-wide meta of sorts. This is her first major RP event, so be gentle! If this goes well, she'll be doing some more of these in the future.
She will also continue speaking in the third person, because it makes her feel important. wink
Jay, on the other hand, huffs and declares proudly that this is her big fat baby as well, having been plotting this since over a year ago with Fanta's birth. And will also use third person just 'cause.
How Does it Work?
Consider this thread to be sort of the "base of operations" for the RP event. Anything stated in the "official timeline" is canon knowledge -- meaning that you can use any of that knowledge IC-ly. Your wolves can refer to those events as history that's happened.
If you have something you want to happen as part of this plot, you can solicit for an RP partner here. If you've completed an RP related to the plot, let me know and I will add it to the timeline.
RPs needed in order to move the plot forward will be placed here for people to claim. If you have the right sort of wolves to qualify for the necessary plot point, feel free to RP! If you don't qualify for any of the asked-for RPs, you can still be involved -- just see how the war might be affecting your character, and put together an RP involving some kind of reaction to the current events in the canon.
As an extra sweet incentive, once the whole meta is finished, a few individuals will get a reward as a token of my RP Manager Appreciation (tm). The prizes (and their winning criteria) are currently a surprise...but more details shall be revealed...*spooky music*

Major Events:

-- Gabby approaches The Order for tribute and is instead tossed into a pit, where she ends up giving birth to her pups
-- RoT learns of Gabby's imprisonment and sends someone to investigate
-- RoT puts some pressure on Draug to submit and change its mind about giving tribute

The Official Timeline(RPs listed here are considered canon and can be referenced as "current events" in any RP you partake in. If you would like an event to be added to the timeline but don't feel like RPing it all out, just give me a rough summary of what has occurred off-screen) The Gathering of Terror -- Chernabog gathers his pack to announce his plans to gather tribute from The Order of the Rose and Draug Faroth Just a Little Chit-Chat -- Gabrielle takes her leave of the pack and heads off to collect tribute from the Order Haemon and Raelin travel to Draug Faroth and demand tribute. Haku refuses to submit. True Colours - Haemon, infuriated at his mate's defense of Haku after their failed attempt to collect tribute from Draug, decides to put her in her place Gabrielle enjoys the company of a wolf along her journey, resulting in a pregnancy. Between Old Friends -- Zisa and Sudhir can't help but notice that Gabby has been gone longer than expected Bleed the Heart that Weeps -- Sudhir reaches his limits with his father after the older wolf murders his sons weaker friend; after a brief battle, Sudhir barely escapes with his life
