so, im best friends with this guy. and we were talking, and he said he likes me but doesnt want a relationship. hes like constantly really sweet to me (more so than a normal best friend would be) and we've been messing around n stuff for like almost a month.
well, im completely smitten.
and i told him,
and he says "i know honey, but i still dont want a relationship"
things are the same as then (that was like a week ago)
but i still really like him, and want more, and its hard to just shove all the feelings i have to he side, as to not annoy him and become overbearing about it.
advices??

You say you've been 'messing around' for awhile now, and that makes me think he just wants a friend with benefits. So, I'd be watchful of letting yourself get too carried away with emotions over this boy. He might just be looking for a fun time with no commitment.

Tbh, I was perfectly fine with the standing conditions, if you will, but I just started caring a little too much I guess. lol

Let it go.
I have heard all the too common, I don't want a relationship at my school and it is literally, the dumbest principle ever, especially considering they all still mess around with girls. You are always going to be left wanting something more and he just won't want that, thus leading you on a roller coaster of emotions that no one cares for. Not as much fun as it is worth imo.

you know if he really cares for you or something like that, he would never lead you on. sometimes, you have to be careful, even around your bestfriend, because he might leave you hanging.

Thanks everyone. ^^ He just texted me, saying he wanted to sit and talk bout "us" ("us" can mean anything, its a loosely used term here) n stuff when he gets home from work.
