She nodded as she was questioned, dark eyes lighting a little at the mention of her mother's name. She caught a glimpse of black and gold through the crowd, but knew it wouldn't be so safe to reach her right away. She'd have to wait it out, but she was close enough that she could at least tell everyone was okay. That made her feel a little better about not being with them, even though she still worried. "Thank you," was all she managed to say, before the Eevee had to shift swiftly out of the way to make room for Era's attack. She spat a surprisingly strong Swift attack along with the electric pulse, twitching an ear forward as she watched her attack merge into the massive combination attack from the crowd around them.
She didn't answer the question about how she was feeling, because she was honestly quite sore and unhappy; physically at least. Her muscles were searing, she wasn't used to sprinting and fighting for so long. Being electrocuted thrice over wasn't exactly the most lovely thing, either, and she'd watched a friend get pretty badly injured. She'd never been hit with a Judgement attack, until that day. Now she knew what it was, and it was definitely a powerful attack. One day, she'd match that strength; save someone else from that kind of agony. She quickly pushed the thought away, logic very suddenly kicking in. She was an Eevee, yes, but the ability to use Judgement was more than a little rare. She'd not heard of very many Pokemon taking and actually using such an ability. From what she had heard, it wasn't something to take lightly, and she fully understood why. That kind of power was best used by only the wisest, and the frail-looking white Eevee before them didn't strike her as being terribly wise or pure. No, that was what happened to those who misused the gifts they were given. She could protect her loved ones without such a curse.
She was jolted from her thoughts by a stray attack, nearly taking off her ear. She really needed to work on her focus; that could have just as easily been an enemy, and then where would she be? She watched as Eridanus screamed at them, his voice barely carrying over the crowd. Even if she'd missed it, the twisted rage in his eyes was unmistakable. Electricity sparked around him, and Skye's eyes widened in horror. The Torterra was rising again, as well. His massive body shook the ground beneath his great feet, and it took a few moments to readjust her stance for balance. With flattened ears and narrowed eyes, she hissed in challenge. She knew that no one present would stand down to such a blatant act of strength. They could use dramatics all they liked, but when it came right down to it, they were greatly outnumbered, and someone would always survive.
Someone beat them to the first retaliation, however. She watched in sudden awe as a strange Garchomp appeared. The jaw of the Torterra was ripped clean from it's skull, and she flinched as fresh, hot blood splattered across her fur. It felt sticky, and the scent was sickeningly fresh. She didn't bother to wipe the fluid from her face, instead lunging forward, heading straight for the mortified enemy. Without the Torterra there to back him up, and the imminent danger of the Garchomp, they stood a real chance of tearing apart the second threat. She wanted to be a part of that victory, to feel proud in having accomplished it. For a moment, she felt a lot more like Harumi than she had in a long time.
Eridanus disappeared in a brilliant flash of light, Teleporting off. Solaris was shouting and spitting fury, and she felt a little bad. It had been by their request that he'd even left the battle in the first place. Apparently he'd still escaped with something reasonably important. Their victory was short-lived, but at least they'd all survived, as far as she knew. That was something to celebrate. They were growing stronger, and she hoped that they continued to do so. Perhaps even she would learn what it meant to actually fight, some day. She didn't want to hide herself away, as much as she hated fighting. It didn't feel right.
A leafy tail wrapped itself firmly around her, drawing her close, and Skye glanced sharply up into the stern golden eyes of her mother. Zori had found her in a heartbeat, now that they weren't separated by a wall of giant Torterra shell. "Mom, I-"
"-came to help. Skye, you're not strong enough for this, and you know it." Her voice was sharp, clearly angry despite the lack of volume. Somehow, that almost made it worse. Her mother's voice was usually so soft; she'd never been spoken to like that, and it made her anxious and ashamed. "We'll discuss this later," she added, stalking off to greet Era with her ears flat.
The Eevee's ears flattened in response to that, cringing backward, only to find herself pressed against a massive violet body. Dark eyes met golden, but the tones were by far unique from her mother's. She looked away, and Kai's large arms wrapped around her, pressing her close for a gentle hug. "You just scared her. She lost sight of you and Keiran after that last Judgement." His voice was quiet and stern, but it was sympathetic enough that the Eevee couldn't bring herself to look him in the eyes. She'd wanted so much to help, to make something useful of herself, and she'd just added more weight to the minds of her family. It didn't feel like a fair trade-off, to her. "...How is he?"
The Eevee looked crestfallen, the reminder of their team's companion dampening her spirits even further. She didn't know him well, but he seemed like a nice person. Unlike the Chimchar, who'd already left without a word to any of them. She felt there was a lot more to that Fire-type than met the eye, but that didn't make them friends. "I don't know. The Guildmaster managed to get him out to the infirmary, but he didn't seem in the best of shape..." she admitted softly, finally forcing herself to meet Kai's gaze. She felt a little queasy; she hoped that hadn't been her fault...
"Alright... well, we need to get back and make sure that our team is safe and settled, first. I'll take you to see Keiran afterward, alright?" He was so comforting, so assuring. Skye didn't know what he thought about it, but even if he was unhappy, he was letting things lie. It would be hard enough to take the anger of her parents later on.
"Thank you, Kai," she whispered, following him off toward the remains of the staircase. She glanced backward as she left, at the others they left behind. A glimmer of golden wings caught her eye, and she waved her tail in farewell to the Pikachu who'd helped her and Keiran.

Zori padded up to the familiar-looking Pikachu and her companions, pricking her ears slightly as she waited patiently for them to ensure their family was safe. Then, she tapped Era lightly on the shoulder with her tail-tip, a faint and tired smile tracing her lips. Weary golden eyes shone with gratitude. "Excuse me, Era? I'm Zori Eclipse." She introduced herself politely, somehow managing to sound friendly despite her lack of energy. "I just wanted to thank you. My daughter isn't trained for fighting, so that you kept an eye on her... I really appreciate it."
Her Soothe Globe swung slightly on her neck, pulsing a little. She'd been lucky not to have needed it this time, but it was something that never left her side. "If there's anything you or your team might need...?" It was a rather spontaneous offer, but she'd heard a lot about Era. In fact, she could remember having met the Pikachu once when they were much younger. She'd been just an Eevee, then, and it hadn't been long since the death of Aisu. She doubted that Era remembered her, after so long. Either way, she felt that the tender-hearted Pikachu deserved a little kindness in return.

Era & Ethfael & Sereni & Riley & Faran & Celus & Eon & Irilyss Era watched her young companion carefully, keeping one eye on both the purple Eevee and the far more threatening white one whom they fought. She seemed to be thinking about something deeply if the Pikachu wasn't mistaken, deeper thoughts than she'd seen a girl that age think except perhaps in the case of young Azra. Come to think of it those two were on the same Team if she wasn't mistaken, though it really wasn't her place to ask. The Electric Type's expression grew somewhat unhappy as she considered the girl beside her; this was really no place for anyone like her, being subjected to such pressures without being prepared for it. The Eevee surely was determined though, and Era knew well enough that it was impossible to dissuade children from something they'd committed themselves to. The moment of thought was quickly torn from her as a Judgment cut by so quickly, terribly close to the Eevee who she was watching. Era let out a breath of relief to see that the attack had just missed the girl, and though her companion seemed a bit shaken, she was unharmed which was what mattered to the Pikachu. The Electric Type turned her gaze once again to Eridanus, just in time to watch his rage increase yet again.
It was with great unease that Era beheld a blood-stained and raging Eridanus, stepping forward a bit so that she stood slightly in front of the purple Eevee defensively. It wasn't as though she was much of a sheild or a threat, but she wasn't about to just stand by and watch. The Pikachu tensed as she watched electricity crackle about Eridanus' unsheathed claws, sensing that the attack that the Normal Type was preparing wouldn't be like the others. "Brace yourself," she said to the girl, gaze wary as she followed her own instruction. Her eyes raised to the stirring Torterra but the Pikachu didn't react at all, simply preparing for the worst: they weren't finished until the last Pokemon who believed in their cause was dead.
As it turned out, Era didn't need to fear for their lives just yet. From the maw of the massive Pokemon's corpse-for that was indeed what it remained-emerged Raith, drenched in blood but heroically stepping forth on the offense against their Eevee foe. As he rent the jaw from the Torterra, some of the blood splattered onto the Pikachu and her young companion, and the Electric Type jumped in surprise and repulsion. Her reaction to the blood slowed her response to her Eevee companion's leaping forward toward the larger of her species, and Era jumped after the girl after an instant of stunned disbelief. "Wait! Come-" The Pikachu's voice was drowned out by Raith's roar and she cringed, covering sensitive ears, before suddenly-it was over. Eridanus vanished in a blinding Teleport, leaving Era halfway blinded even as Solaris piped up, his shout reaching her ears too late and keeping her from doing anything to help. With a dull, final look at where the Eevee had last stood, the Pikachu's ears flattened against her head: in the end she hadn't been able to do anything at all this time, had she? Not for her Teammates, not for Keiran, not even for the young Eevee who's name she didn't know and who had found her mother so it seemed. With a dejected sigh, Era turned tail toward where her own Team was gathering and made her way back to them.
"Era! You're alright!" Faran yipped, racing forward to meet the Pikachu and nuzzling her happily despite the still wet blood that stained her fur. "That's everyone now!" The Fire Type was quite accurate in his statement: Ethfael was resting in the center of a group of Riley, Sereni, and Celus, Irilyss stood to the side of the others and beside her was a bedraggled and miserable looking Eon who appeared to be about to topple over but had made his painful way over to the group all the same. "Eon hit his head!" the Vulpix eagerly explained, wanting to be helpful, "He says he needs to go home and rest for a bit. Ethfael says that'd be nice too, he got hit by that lightning twice! Celus got hit by it once too, but he says he's fine and that 'his bones are strong' or something like that. Did you see us fighting Era? We were so awesome!" An endless torrent of words continued to stream from the young Vulpix's mouth, his energy converted from fear to excitement at having triumphed over the metaphorical 'bad guy.' Era put on a smile for the boy's sake and patted him gently on the head in response to his chatter, just happy to see everyone in one piece. "Hey Era! Eraaaaaa!" The boy's call drew Era from her thoughts as she looked down at the bright-eyed vulpine. "Come on, everyone else wants to see you too." The Pikachu smiled slightly with a fond look at Faran, and allowed herself to be pulled over to the others where she saw to it that her Team was coping now that the battle was through.
They didn't take very long to sort things through, and soon Era sent them off toward home as Solaris had instructed, having Irilyss Teleport Eon ahead of time so that he could see to his wounds. She was about to follow the rest of her group when the lightest tap on the shoulder caught the Pikachu's attention. Era turned about to find none other than Zori herself standing behind her, and the Pikachu blinked with surprise at the sight of one of her heroes standing before her. She dipped her head in a friendly return of the Leafeon's salutations, modestly waving off her thanks. "I-It was no trouble really," she murmured, feeling far less than worthy of the gratitude. She'd just looked after the girl, it was what she'd do for anyone and what she hoped anyone would do for one of her own Team. "Your daughter's a good girl," Era said after a moment, meeting Zori's eyes at last, "She was worried about the rest of you so she came to make sure you all were alright. When I found her she was trying to help a friend of mine who'd gotten hurt. It was the least I could do to give her a hand."
The Pikachu smiled shyly and her paws absently toyed with her Volt Globe out of nervousness. The Leafeon had something similar about her throat, a Soothe Globe if Era wasn't mistaken; it embarrassed the Electric Type that she had something akin to what the Grass Type wore, for it made them seem similar although, to Era, they were leagues apart in skill. Her ears pricked up as Zori spoke again and the Pikachu blinked in surprise as the Leafeon's unwarranted offer was made. "I-I can't think of anything," she stammered, humbled by the kindness that Zori was showing, "Thank you for the offer though..." Era fidgeted slightly, uncertain if it had been rude to refuse the offer she'd been made. Really Era found it a thoroughly unexpected pleasure just to meet her, anything more would be an extra gift on top of the one she'd already received.

ZoriThe Leafeon’s ears twitched in response to the Pikachu’s kind words, her golden eyes shining with pride for her daughter. Skye had done some good today, as foolish as it had been to come back and do so. It was a relief to know that her daughter was already beginning to fit in with the other guild members, particularly Era, who was captain to a rather high-class team. The reminder of the Eevee’s efforts, however, brought back the topic of the Riolu who’d been fighting with them. ”Keiran? Yeah, he seems a good sort. I’m glad to hear that he made it out alright,” the team captain murmured, her voice softened with concern for their newfound friend.
She was a little surprised, when Era turned down her offer, but she certainly didn’t mind. They were all pretty tired, and it would be better if everyone made sure their teams were taken care of, first. The Pikachu had a lot to think about, and Zori felt it might be better for both of them to be back with their families. It wouldn’t be polite to keep the tired-looking Electric-type from returning home after such an eventful evening. ”I should be going, now. Thank you again, Era. I hope everything goes well for you and your family.”
The Grass-type bowed slightly, flicking her ears back solemnly. Then, with a content, but exhausted expression, she twisted around to make her way back toward where she’d last spotted her teammates. Her sleek, black form disappeared through the crowd, her leafy tail wearily low as it brushed along the floor. A golden-swirled leg was the last thing to be seen as she slipped out of sight, already beginning to trot up toward the staircase. She had a few discussions to be had with her teammates; the most important of which involving the children, the mess that their home had become, and everyone’s health. There was a lot to do, thanks to Eridanus and his companions, but hopefully she’d be able to deal with most of it in the morning. She was definitely too tired to want to bother with it tonight.

Era Era smiled at Zori's acknowledgment of her Riolu friend. "Keiran, yes. He's a good friend of mine, we traveled through some hard times together. He doesn't have the best of lots in life, but he's got a strong spirit." The Electric Type had a fondness for the Fighting Type, as much as she had for any of her own Team. The thought reminded her that she would have to check up on the Riolu after she helped fix their home back up. "We got Solaris to see him to the Infirmary, hopefully they'll be able to patch him up alright, he took more than one direct hit from those Judgment attacks." The more she spoke of it, the more the Pikachu felt that she would have to check on Keiran, and sooner rather than later. Just so that he had a familiar face to wake up to when he recovered if for nothing else. "She was giving him a hand though, and I was grateful for it." A friend to Era was as close as any family, so there was a great deal of gratitude she held for kindness toward those she cared for.
The Pikachu gave Zori a careworn smile as she excused herself; the Leafeon seemed to have picked up that Era wasn't entirely focused at the moment. Really what she wanted more than anything was to see to her Team and make certain that everyone was alright, once that was done she'd be able to have a conversation, but before then the level of her concentration would be divided. "I'm sorry," she said, making up for her lack of attentiveness with the statement. "Maybe we can talk again sometime?" The offer was tentative but extended anyway. She'd like to meet with Zori again sometime, when she could actually hold a decent conversation with the Leafeon. "You take care as well." The Pikachu returned the farewell with a smile, as well as a bow in response to Zori's own. She watched the Leafeon go for a few moments before turning as well to follow in her own Team's footsteps. There were things for the Electric Type to do as well: taking care of Eon, righting the disarray that was in their room, finding Erinn and Rivia, sending a note to Ava to let her know what happened, the list went ever on. All there was to be done was take things one step at a time, which was exactly what she intended to do.
