For Yule this year, I'm planning on a couple things. I'm going to light a special winter candle that I use for Yule each year. It's supposed to be a wintery scent mix, but I'm not sure what's in it lol Smells good though smile
I also want to say a few prayers that I found online through a newsletter. One is a prayer to the Winter Goddess, another a prayer for snow, and the last a prayer to various Yule Gods and Goddesses. Usually when I say prayers, I like to come up with my own. I really liked the words in these though biggrin

Blessed Yule! Blessed Litha!
This year is my first as Kemetic Orthodoxy and during this time, there is something called the Ten Days of Joy leading up to the festival Bast Guards the Two Lands. During the Ten Days which began 6 days ago, you reflect on what brings you the most joy.
Another thing that will be new to me this year is that my family and I will be going down to our local Daily Bread to give food out. I really hope that all goes well so that this can become a yearly thing.

I'm not sure if I can do anything for Yule, possibly say 'Happy day!' to a few people, Lol. I still haven't moved out and getting yelled at while living in a strict christian family doesn't seem like a good thing. If anything I'll pray for everyone else's days to be better than mine.
Happy day!~

Same here, Kaguya! I can't celebrate either. I'm not even sure how I would! I guess I'll light a candle out on the porch and play some winter-ey celtic music. If they'll even let me do that! Oh, and I have a couple of haikus for you all!

Crystals softly fall Twinkling like white diamonds Blanketing the ground Snowflakes are falling Covering the world in white As I walk outsideHappy Yule, everyone!

Happy Lithia/Yule! For Lithia this year I meditated in the backyard enjoying the sunlight.
I also watched the sunrise and sunset for the day so I'm chuffed about being able to do that. I wrote a couple of lines for the sunset so here they are:
The sun is out of sight, We wait till last light, Then say good night.
Good Night Sun, Your strongest day is done, To surrender to the night. The circle will remain, While your life will wane, I will miss your light.
