The Iron Magus Yeata Zi The Iron Magus Yeata Zi The Iron Magus Fine, but I get half of everything. Except the kids. Those you can keep. And I'll be expecting a big fat alimony check in the mail every month! .... Well... maybe we'll stay married then.... and suffer through it. Yeah, okay. It's really the only moral thing to do. Can we be swingers? I don't see why not. excellent. TiM... we're very strange, aren't we?

Clone Yami Here's the thing though, that is internal tech. That obviously is huge leaps but these planets that they are looking for are LIGHT YEARS away. A decrease from 7 months to one is fascinating but some of these planets would require going about 30 to 300 times the speed of light to even reach in a respectable time. I wasn't implying we would be inventing faster-than-light travel anytime soon, I was just saying... uh... I forgot what I was saying. TIM and Zi are distracting me with their extreme off-topic-ness. ;P

Yami, you mentioned that we don't have the technology to get out of the solar system. I was just saying that progress is being made to make space travel faster, and the possibility of it becoming much cheaper due to asteroid mining could cause things to advance even more quickly. Faster-than-light travel is still, as far as we know, impossible, but other methods for reaching the stars could be developed. I'm not going to speculate about what they might be, though. I've talked too much as it is. sweatdrop
