Cuss words and swearing and cursing are not the same thing... Even Jesus used strong and insulting words when he threw the money changers out of the Temple in righteous anger (not hate).
YHWH works and is more pure by some people's standards because the Hebrew language doesn't have vowels... Just as some people do not spell out the word God, for respect to Him... It is a matter of preference, but we know what each other means.
... and although DMJ comes off as a bit harsh, he knows his stuff pretty well... call it tough love... I have seen more frustration and exasperation from him than hate... but if you ask nicely, he might actually teach you something. LOL
There is more to reading a Bible and taking things at face value... Many of the verses you quoted are being short-changed by your usage of them, and mean so much more than the feable attempt you are making at proving wirty dords are bad.
The Books were not originally in English, and many of the most popular translations were written in old English and even some of the more recent translations were just re-worded based on the Old English translations, and don't quite mean what to us what the original text was trying to impart. We have expanded on the English language since those translations debuted, and now the meanings have become corrupted as our vocabulary has evolved. Yet, even as our own understanding of our own language has changed, the words on those pages have stayed the same, thus we don't always get the right idea. The safest way to see what the message says to us is to go back to the source via the original languages.
... And I agree that Christians should be able to question the motives of other people who call themselves Christian, to check their actions against what we are told through the Word... But calling a brother or sister out does not have to be an act of judgement, but of love.

Sure DMJ is a little rough around the edges but that we all are. A) DMJ is not Christian, he is in the Guild due to the fact that he has a respected intellect, and is very good at looking at the actual meaning of a verse.
B) Hypocrite, much? If you are trying to pass along the viewpoint that swearing is bad, calling someone an idiot and threatening them for disagreeing really is not the direction you want to go.
C) In addition to the above, YOU are the one that needs to read them a bit clearer. Note that almost all of them include the word 'Oath' or 'Covenant'? The verses you referenced regard 'Swearing' in the sense of making a promise. As DMJ said, they were originally written in a different language, long before German, much less English, was so much as a mountain hick dialect. Such as those verses from Psalms? The Hebrew word used is אָלָה(alah), which translates to Oath.
Do some research before calling other people idiots, especially DMJ. You look like an a**.
