Calypso tried to dodge the bite by moving through the branches but she was not fast enough. She was once again bitten. "Dang it!" Cara said, frustrated. This terrain was not helpful one bit. "Calypso! Use Ice Beam!" The tentacool immediately shot out a stream of frozen liquid straight at the offending pokemon, hoping that her shot would (for once), hit its mark.

Cara knew they were out of time, but she wasn't going to give up without a fight. She saw that Calypso was worn out, but still willing to fight on. "You've done great Calypso, lets try Ice Beam once more!" Cara called out. The weary tentacool once more sent out a stream of frozen liquid straight for the zubat.
((question Zaki, are you taking into account the type advantage ice beam has on Zue?....did I already ask this...))

(Yes I am. It hit for 150 instead of 100 due to the type advantage. this one hit for 300 instead of 150 cause it was a critical) Once more Zue was hit by the Ice Beam. After recovering from the attack he flapped his little wings warily. "One more bite and this battle should be finished!" He shouted at his Zubat taking in mind how wary their opponent looked. Calypso was hit once more. This time though, she was unable to get back up. The referee called the match. Cara looked on down at her tentacool and called her back into her pokeball. She smiled at the ball containing Calypso and spoke gently. "You put up a great fight Calypso, you were amazing. Take a nice long rest." Cara then climbed down from the trainer's box and sighed. She was hoping to win with this being Calypso's first battle (outside of the mansion that is), but fate appeared to have other plans for them. "Great battle Zak! We'll want a rematch sometime, after we get stronger. That Zubat of yours is a tough little guy, and the field type definitely didn't help us out any." Cara said scratching the back of her neck. She then offered Zak her hand, "Great battle."

After seeing his opponent fall and was unable to get back up the little bat tiredly flapped over towards his trainer and flopped upon the male's head. "We'll welcome the rematch any time." Zak replied back taking her hand and shaking it. "The field type didn't really help us much either. Zue got a bunch of practice dodging trees though. Next time though I hope to have a different pokemon. Hopefully a dragon or a fire type."

Cara smiled, "That'd be cool. Maybe next time you can battle Dante or Rio, or maybe a future pokemon I have yet to meet. You met Dante before, he's my Persian. As for Rio..." She trailed off. "You'll have to wait and see." Cara said with a sly grin. "Right now though, I had better get Calypso to a pokemon center so she can get all fixed up. Hopefully next time we'll have a better field type as well." Cara said the last part with a bit of a laugh. She then walked off, leaving the stadium, but she turned a bit as she did to call out a final farewell. "See ya later Zak!"
