He stood and faced the two wolves with a smile on his face. He could quite understand why Helaku would be so protective of the green-hued wolf as he felt it himself too. It must be saddening to let her go to someone that you hardly knew, he just hoped he could prove hismelf worthy.
He wanted to care for her but feared he wouldn't be able to. He had to trust, trust in his own skills and the ways he had been brought up to believe.
Peace always found the answer.
Whisper do well here, I try best to care for her. He nodded, meeting the other male wolf's eyes. I protect her with life, die before she hurt. And he would, he would guard her till death took him and even then try and protect her in spirit.

Helaku nodded firmly, finding that this male was indeed capable of taking care of his green friend, it was just that he needed to find confidence in himself. "Alright then," he said quickly, still worrying about whether or not Suzaku would worry over his absence. Hopefully not, as it was unlikely two wolves closely related to her would disappear at the same time.
"I will leave Whisper in your care. I will check back in now and again, when I have the time," he nodded again, smiling warmly this time. He didn't like coming off as a stiff to others, and so he tried to act calm and peaceful.
Then, with that, the yellow male dipped his head respectfully then was off.
Whisper grinned then looked at her male friend, tail wagging behind her happily. "Staying with Gizmo! Staying with Gizmo!" she yipped excitedly, hopping forward and nibbling on his ears.
The female laughed happily as she then looked back at a bush that her other friend had come through then disappeared in. It smelled like meat, so she investigated. In it were two plump rabbits, full of winter fat. Still grinning, she brought them back to show Giz.
"Share?"

((sorry for the late reply Tammy )) He remained quietly standing watching as they yellow wolf turned and left, Goodbye. He murmered softly before turning to gaze at the green wolf who had seemed to find a new bout of energy.
His mouth parted in a wide smile, tongue lolling between his teeth as he ducked his head to playfully try and free his ears. Whisp stay! Stay long as like! He bounced lightly after her as she went to investigate, finding the scent that she had.
Meat?
He tilted his head to the side, golden eyes widening as he realised that Helaku had indeed caught something. He must have been an amazing hunter. You no want both? He questioned, wanting her to eat as much as she desired.

Whisper wagged her tail as she stood there above the hares on the ground. They looked delicious and were making her mouth water. She longed to just sink her teeth into the fresh meat, but she wouldn't eat alone. Gizmo was her friend, and Helaku hadn't hunted merely for her.
"Share, is alright," she assured him, nosing one of the rabbits closer to her friend. "Can eat later, anyways."
The green wolf nodded, hoping that he would take the other one. She didn't like eating alone...

He grinned and stepped forwards, nosing at the rabbit's fur and sniffing at it's rrather delicious scent. Gizmo need practise hunt other things. He muttered before tucking into the food, pausing only to continue his sentence, only know how hunt rabbits. He looked sheepish for a moment, the slight tilt of his ears showing this. However the expression was soon lost. He had hunted big game before and though he hadn't been very good he would learn. He had to!
His pups would be growing every day and he needed to teach them how to do such things.
He continued eating, pausing to glance up at his friend. He felt so happy knowing that others he knew were still out there leading lives, and he would make sure Whisper's was worthwhile now. No longer would she be in the shadow of grief. No, he'd pull her out into the sun.
When Whisper stronger, Giz take her round to see land....if she like too.
