That's why collecting at least 10 different past saves is a good thing.
Supinelu Just got Icy Spear spell book after thinking I had no more spells left. Want to go try it out on people but. insufficient manna.
Oh trust me there are lots of spell books, some that don't appear until a particular school is a high enough level.
Skyrim Spells
Actually it sort of isn't. A couple friends of mine found out the hard way Skyrim starts erasing all saves (autosaves and manual saves) once they pile up to around 12 or so, maybe under. And each time you switch characters it erases all autosaves. Oh? Yay, I wanna go find all the spells now!
That's odd seeing as I have a ton of save's more than 10 I know for sure. With auto saves ya the get written over each time, but not regualr hard saves. I still have my save 001 and I'm at save 250+. Then again I don't have all the saves between 001 and 250 I've deleted most of them but still I know I have at least 10 maybe more sitting there waiting for me to jump back if I need to.

I have more then 10 saves as well..... but I only have one character so its not like i'm switching back and forth.... perhaps that matters?
That could be the reason, I've only got the one character as well. Might be worth testing out to see what happens if you have more than one.
Though I don't know how anyone could juggle having more than one play though at the same time.

Maybe it doesn't happen to everyone, but a few of them have lost characters over the saves so it's better to be safe than sorry in this occasion.

Like Jay was saying it could be from having more than one character save at a time. That's one thing (among others) that Beth should really work on in the future. I wonder if its really that hard to have a character save system that's like what Bioware has in Mass Effect.

Yeah that would be my guess too, I counted and have 18 saves, not including any of the auto saves. But yeah, just one character.

Otar the Mad is one of the eight Dragon Priests. There is a sort unofficial quest that goes along with hunting down and killing all eight priest. Some of the Priests you will encounter during a mission that leads you to a particular Nord ruin.
The priests: Hevnoraak, Morokei, Nahkriin, and Rahgot have quest's that will lead you too them as the final boss of the ruin.
Note: Nahkriin the only way to get his mask is during the main quest line. During the quest "The World Eater's Eyrie" you should not miss him as he's the last baddie you should meet before taking a journey...
The last mask, Konahrik can only be aquired once you collect all other 8 masks and visit the Bromjunaar Sanctuary in Labyrinthian.
I hope that doesn't give away too much.
