I had it a lot better than that. My dad only really heavily delved into Christianity recently, and it really has made him a better person. He tries to push it on me every so often, but it's more of a "It made me really happy, you might like it" kind of thing than him being rigid and zealous. I haven't told him I'm an atheist, but there's an unspoken understanding that I don't have an interest in Christianity, and he's pretty fine with that.
Honestly, I think that's the best way to go about it, if you can even get that much leeway from your family. Just let them know you aren't interested in their religion. Don't announce what you practice if you don't feel confident sharing with them, but don't let them force you into church or anything. You have your right to privacy and practice.

Well, I've already headed in the right direction then. My father pretty much forced me to go to church twice a week my entire life. My mother (who lives on the other side of the country) already understands that I do not believe in their God, but nothing past that. I live with my fiancee (who is gladly also Wiccan), because my father was not too thrilled about having a 17 year old daughter who was pregnant living in his house.

Understandable. Just be careful, things can go astray easily and suddenly. Trust me, crazy stuff can go down before you have time to catch up.

BanefulBekkah Does anyone know of a list of herbs that should not be burned, made into teas, ect., during pregnancy? I don't know a specific list, but... Don't consume nutmeg, it helps miscarriages. Cinnamon isn't good either, but its won't kill anything, just cause problems. Don't eat swordfish... in fact, just stay away from fish and most red meat... Never burn mistletoe, its toxic. Don't eat any belladonna(nightshade) Hellbane(or anything with bane in the word, it generally means its toxic)" Most herbs that are toxic are toxic in large quantities, but in smaller doses are used to help someone sleep. I just don't think it wise to use any sedative during a pregnancy. Try to keep out of hottubs or hotwater, it can cause problems... But seriously, if it has nutmeg in it, get away from it. It is literally what I tell people who come to me wanting a natural abortion, I tell them to put nutmeg in their food, it has caused a miscarriage every time, not kidding. So no eggnog this season, it has nutmeg in it.

BanefulBekkah My fiancee wants to know what are some really good crystals and stones to get and keep on hand. He's really into crystal magic. Let me ask my fiance, he and my coven sister Sonne Mutter are the crystal people... generally, keep quartz on hand though. When you buy it, put it in salt water and let it sit under a moon to purify(because quartz absorbs energy worse than most stones and crystals) then let it sit in fresh salt water in the sun for as long as you can, sun charges quartz. Also, amethyst is a good stone to carry(also needs to be purified, because it is worse than even quartz at absorbing energy) its good to sleep with if you have nightmares... also, If he hasn't already found his stone, I'd go into a store with a lot of stones there, and have him go threw and touch them, walk around with each individually, to find which one is most inclined to him. Your stone is important, carry it with you always, it adds its strange to you, calms you, helps heal any hurts, etc..

Lol excuse the question whoring. Two more for now.
How does one tell their element? Is it based off personality?
Is there a good website for spells? Like...an accurate one?

BanefulBekkah Lol excuse the question whoring. Two more for now. How does one tell their element? Is it based off personality? Is there a good website for spells? Like...an accurate one? I have never found any believable spell, because I don't trust the internet. I either consult my mentor(who works in Black magic, not Wicca, because I'm not really Wiccan anymore(Former Wiccan), but Hatter is, she's just never on.) Or I check my spell book. I'm going to take a trip to new Orleans soon to check some of the Voodoo and BlackMagic shops down there, they have the best books.
Elements...I'm not sure. I just knew, I woke up one day, before I ever decided to follow my father's side of the family into the Old Craft, I just knew Shadow was my element. What a lot of people don't know, or believe, is that there are more than just the basic 4/5(spirit) elements. There is actually a vast amount, but people who have an element(and not all do) you just know, sometimes it takes opening a circle and getting a feel for the elements, see which one calls to you, you'll feel a oneness in the pit of your stomach, and understanding for the feelings of the element, how it thinks, it personalities. To get a feel for the flip-side/ nocturnal elements(Shadow, Vapor, Sound, Electricity, Time(life and death), Gravity, etc), you'd have to open that kind of circle. I can always give you a play-by-play of how to open one of those circles. As far as I'm aware, I'm the only person to have actually thought to design it, all Wiccan(at least the ones who publish books) go with the basic 4 elements, but my element was not on that circle, so I created one with the other elements.
I'll PM you my number(if you have a cell and that wouldn't be weird) and you can just text me if you need any spells, for instance, spells to help with childbirth and anti-miscarriage spells...
