As they walked Jeremiah was deep in thought, he finally whispered to Harry "Be careful when you talk to Draco.."

"Okay I will." When they got into Potions Harry saw that Draco was sitting alone, so before one of his goons could walk up to him he walked up to him and cleared his throat. "May I partner with you in potions today Malfoy?" Snape had heard his request and tapped Harry on his shoulder before Draco could answer him.
"And why the sudden interest in teaming up with a Slytherin Mr. Potter? Trying to get on my good side are we?" Harry shook his head no. "Draco is the top of his class in Potions Professor Snape. If I want to become an Auror I need top marks in this class. I'm willing to take sacrifices to get top marks on my O.W.L.S. and N.E.W.T.S." Snape raised an eyebrow at him before going back to his desk. "Carry on then Mr. Potter, but you're going to still have to do half the work." Harry nodded before taking a spot next to him before handing him a note that read:
Draco I need to talk to you alone after class. It's important. Walk out with me when it's over.

Draco looked at the note and just narrowed his eyes at Harry not saying anything. they started their work. "Finally realize I am benificial to you hmm potter?" he said with his normal snarky tone.
Jeremiah watched for a little bit then looks at Ron who sat next to him "Go work with Hermione. she can 'help you' with potions" he smiles giving Ron's arm a squeeze. it might mean that he would be working with someone he didn't know but he wanted to give them a chance.

Usually Harry would come up with a smart remark right back, but this time he didn't answer him back and continued on his work. "You mind handing me that piece of tree bark that looks like your girlfriend's nose?"
Ron blushed before he nodded and sat down next to Hermione. "Can I...work with you today?"

Draco rolls his eyes "not my girlfriend" he hands Harry it "and it does look like her nose"
"Umm sure" Hermione smiles softly. "I thought you would work with Jeremiah.." She set out the stuff they need looking at Jeremiah who was setting his stuff out starting the assignment.

Not his girlfriend? Then why are they seen together all the time? And why did he go to the Yule Ball with her last year? I was trying to insult her, but he agreed with me. "Thanks." With that he did half the work with Draco doing the other half. Everyone was shocked that a Gryffindor was working so well with a Slytherin. It had never been done before. Even Snape was shocked.

Draco actually enjoyed it, the fact that they where able to get the job done as fast as they did amazed him. normally with working with the others it was boring and rather slow. this was different.

Snape walked up to them when they were done and tested the potion to see if it would work. It did and he was impressed even if he didn't look it. "Well done Potter and Malfoy. From now on you two will be permanent lab partners. The person you worked with before Malfoy will work with Jeremiah. If you want to be an auror Potter you're going to have to work hard and earn it." with that he turned around and left. "Ten points for Slytherin, and...I suppose ten points for Gryffindor as well." Soon potions was over and Harry pulled Draco aside alone outside in the hallway.
"What's going on here Malfoy? Ever since we were first years we've been at each other's throats ever since you made fun of my new friends. I think it's more then just a House feud. Also..why are you trying to hurt Jeremiah? You tried tripping him a few times, and I just want to know what's on your mind."
