C.J. shrugged. "I know. I just . . . well it's a long story." he said, backing away from Gossamer. "So do all your parties end up with near homicides or did we just have good luck?" he asked, back in his wisecracking form.

C.J. smirked. "Well it sure beat a night at the bar. Tell ya what, I'd like t' make it up to y'all. Come on back to our place sometime, hon." he said. Hey, stupid, don't forget the date! he thought. Of course, that idea was still a little new, him back in the dating scene.

Lucas, feeling confident now that Goss would cause no more trouble, looked to Alex and gave a small, weary, somewhat-forced smile.

Misty smiled. "That sounds great." she replied.
Alex, still staring up at Lucas, tried to give him a smile back as well. More to try and help him calm down.
Gossamer, satisfied that the group was going to leave her alone now, turned and bent down next to Vice again. She mumbled something, and the next moment she and Vice were gone.

Lucas sighed, and then spontaneously kissed Alex on the lips.
"Can we just start going out and get it over with?" he asked, grinning a bit, as he was in his "Paragon" mindset.

Alex hesitated a moment, blushing. Then a small, wry smile crossed her lips. "Yeah. Yeah I....think I'd like that."
To be honest, there were a few things she had been wanting to do with him, but was afraid it would open up the possibilities of 'crossing the line'. Like their trip to Hell and that hotel stay.

C.J. smiled at the two. He looked at Misty. "Hell of a couple." he said as he put an arm around her. Not in a particularly flirtatious way (anybody could have noticed the Marylander had the hots for her thanks for the two dares he got that night!) but as a good friendly moment.
"Yeah, we do a party all through de holidays, che'. Get started de week befo' Christmas an' wind up gettin' slammered 'til past New Years." Arell said with a drunken grin, remembering the good times.

C.J. smiled. "Usually is. Only with a lot less homicide . . . unless you're with PETA, then we kinda . . . butcher a hog." he said with a shrug. And by the looks of it in the other forum, a robot shows up! This may be interesting, sports fans! he thought.
