Although Cole hadn't been kidding about it bein' too much cowboy in one place apparently it had come off funny to Conor and he wasn't about to contradict the guy. Especially if he was givin' Cole such a deal on a room! "You sure 'bout not chargin' for the double? I don't mind payin' for it if it's all ya'all got. And it's real kind of ya for not tryin' to sucker me inta' a single if it's not a good place." As Conor had told him that someone would push the beds together for him Cole tried to interject, sayin' he would just move 'em but the man was on a roll, and who was he to interrupt it?
At the mention of a Ranch nearby without any owner, Cole perked up really quick. "Was it just a cattle ranch 'afore or was it used for somethin' in particular? Each type'a ranch is different and it depends on what'cha want to do that make's a difference. That'd be pretty awesome to own my own ranch!" With a smile at Conor, Cole adjusted his hat slightly and thanked the man. This was turning into a pretty damn good day for him. Remembering that all of his things were sitting out in his truck though brought Cole's attention back to the room he was getting. "How much do I owe you for the room? I'm payin' in cash for maybe a month or so at one time. That'away I don't have to come down here and bug ya all the time. If that's alright?" Cole had a substantial amount of cash on him, so it was easier to pay in bulk while he could.
