My brother, Jack, and I were sent out to Nirvani to our only living relatives - our grandparents. Although we had an older sister, she was only in college and couldn’t take care of us. So island life was where we headed. Growing up on the island was a complete dream for us! We had visited Grandma and Papa a few times but getting to live there was great! We had none of the issues that made city living bad, learning to swim in the ocean then as I got older to surf and sail. The only problem was when my brother and I outgrew the school on the island we needed more of an education then we could get there. So Grandma and Papa packed up everything and left the little island for good. Living in the city, making friends and going to college had me happy, but my heart still belonged on the island of Nirvani and I was determined to return at some time in my life. I had gotten the opportunity to travel all around the world with my photography degree, Australia, Greece, Italy, Barcelona, and many other places. I had given thought to traveling back to Greece and setting up a shop there when I got a call from Sophie, my sister, about my grandparents.xoxoGrandma and Papa died in a car accident similar to our parents, shortly after my brother's twenty sixth birthday. The three of us were devastated at the loss of the two fantastic people who raised us. Two weeks after the funeral, we went through their home and figured out that things had been separated into three’s. Although our grandparent’s hadn’t planned to be killed, they knew something had been coming. Getting in touch with their lawyer, we found out they were taking precaution due to age. The had left each of us one of the houses – Jack got the country house because that’s where he and Papa fished and did “man things”, Sophie got the city house because she loved the city more than anything, and I got the island home in Nirvani. I helped box up the things for Jack, and the things for me and got in touch with people I knew close enough to the island. Getting the beach house back into a livable shape was a big job, but it got done. Now I get to pack up everything that I know and love and go to where my heart has lived for many, many years. xoxoAfter spending so much time on the Island I left for a few years and brought my favorite cowboy with me. Tate and I had met while I was still traveling and kept friendly after I finished my PR job at the O'Ballivan Ranch. He met up with me out here and we co-habbed for a while. After a while we got so used to each other he couldn't keep anything from me. He had managed to keep something from me, his idea of proposing! I was completely floored when he asked but of course said yes. We got married back on the mainland with our families and traveled together for a while. Once coming back to Nirvani I realized that I was pregnant for the first time. Tate was floored with the idea of becoming a father and we ended up selling the beach house and moving to a house we built on some land so out child could have plenty of space to live. When the new house was done we traveled back into the city so I could be with my family when I had my baby. My little angel boy was born and has grown into the most adorable child. And now were off with a new chapter in our lives on the small island of Nirvani. ~ {✿} Likes →xoxo❥ The Ocean xoxo❥ Strawberries xoxo❥ Summertime xoxo❥ Animals - Especially Dogs xoxo❥ Working with my Hands xoxo❥ Sweets xoxo❥ Children xoxo❥ Bright Colors - Especially Yellow xoxo❥ Fresh Flowers - Especially Sunflowers xoxo❥ Taking Pictures xoxo❥ Riding Horses xoxo❥ Italian Food {✿} Dislikes →xoxo✖ Thunderstorms xoxo✖ Big Bugs xoxo✖ Tomatoes xoxo✖ Wintertime xoxo✖ Grumpy People xoxo✖ Dust xoxo✖ Laziness xoxo✖ Bitter Foods xoxo✖ German Food xoxo✖ Heights xoxo✖ Being Sick xoxo✖ When Someone is Rude to my Child

Dad was never tough on us more than he had to be, but things were hard when Mum died from cancer. I had to raise my sister, Kate, and my brother's Kyle and Cole on the busy O’Ballivan ranch which, let me tell you, sucked big time sometimes. Dad definitely carried the weight of the job, well along with our foreman. My sister’s always been a spitfire, one of the brother's - Cole - followed the most after me, and Kyle's the dreamer so I guess that means I’ve been the one who’s had to get s**t done. That doesn’t mean though that I haven’t gotten into my own shares of trouble through time. I’ve got a bit of a record with the cops for fighting but anything more serious isn’t me. The first to ride a horse out of the three of my siblings and my determination to show off made me a force to be reckoned with while I was on the rodeo circuit. I have some of the damn scars to show some of the more so fierce battles with the bulls. I had to retire from bull riding though when Dad passed about a year ago.xoxoBefore Dad passed, he had an idea for the ranch to get better known. For a few weeks we had this photographer chick out to the ranch. She was a smokin’ blonde with blue eyes bright as bluebells, who could wield a camera better than anyone I have ever met. Let’s just say we definitely had some fun in the hay so to say. The chick’s name was Amanda O’Conner and after the few memorable weeks we had, she left as a good friend. While I was gone on rodeo I would hear of how she was doing out in the world, it seemed that taking pictures for Dad won her an award and helped the company a ton. That’s the past though, after Dad passed and my younger brother decided he wanted to run the ranch with his wife, I set out again in search of new adventures. Amanda had sent me a letter about this tiny Island she had moved to out in the middle of nowhere. Sounded like my kinda place to live, and she said she would put me up for a while. I headed out to Nirvani, going to see the smokin’ blonde and let things handle themselves for a while and that worked out well.xoxoIn that bit 'a time I was on the small island, I found my nitch as the bartender in town. It worked out well, got decent tips and met some good people. All the while, me and 'Manda were getting closer to each other and starting to rely on each other. After a while I realized I loved my blondie and wanted to make it clear to anyone on the Island she was my girl. She was floored by the proposal which was embarrassing enough but she said yes which made me one damn happy cowboy. We had the big white wedding with a southern twist back on the mainland with our families and traveled together for a while. Once coming back to Nirvani 'Manda realized that she was pregnant with out first child. I was floored with the idea of becoming a father! I'll admit now that I probably got a bit overprotective about it but hell, first time father. We ended up selling the beach house and moving to a house we built on some land so our child could have plenty of space to roam free. When the new house was done we traveled back into the city so 'Manda could be with her family when she had the baby. It's been six years now and the boy's shootin' up like a weed. Now's the beginning of a new chapter in all of our lives here on Nirvani. ~{♞} Likes →xoxo❥ Animals - Especially Horses and Dogs xoxo❥ Strip Poker xoxo❥ Swimming xoxo❥ Working with my Hands xoxo❥ My Family xoxo❥ Beer xoxo❥ Calm Colors - Sky Blue Especially xoxo❥ Horse Riding xoxo❥ Baseball and Football xoxo❥ Trucks xoxo❥ Food in General {♞} Dislikes →xoxo✖ Hangovers xoxo✖ Dark Colors - Especially Black xoxo✖ Smart Cars xoxo✖ Girlie Drinks xoxo✖ Hockey xoxo✖ Being Sick xoxo✖ Go Fish xoxo✖ Wintertime xoxo✖ Laziness xoxo✖ Snowboarding xoxo✖ Somebody Screwing with my Family{♞} Theme →xoxoTake A Back Road - Rodney Atkins xoxoWhat Was I Thinkin - Dierks Bently xoxoOut Last Night - Kenny Chesney xoxoWhy Dont We Just Dance - Josh Turner

As Tate and Amanda's only child (so far) they give him a lot of freedom. Brody has his father's quiet nature, but has Amanda's personality type. When meeting adults for the first time, he's usually well liked just for his sweet nature. Shy though is not a word to describe this boy - curious, stubborn, questioning, and sweet could be used though.

Dad was never tough on us more than he had to be, but things were hard when Mum died from cancer. I was no help to my oldest brother, Tate, who had to raise my sister, Kate, and my other older brother, Kyle, on the busy O’Ballivan Ranch. Which, must have sucked big time for him but I was too busy chasin' skirts and gettin' in fights to be much help. Dad carried the weight of the ranch oh his shoulders, well along with our foreman. My sister’s always been a spitfire and a general pain in my a**, since she sucks up to Tate and Kyle. I'm mostly like Tate though, where Kyle's always been the dreamer of the bunch. The last to ride a horse out of my three siblings and my determination to show off that I could be better then all of them made me a force to be reckoned with while I was on the rodeo circuit – more than Tate ever was. I have some of the damn scars to show some of the more so fierce battles with the bulls. It’s intense but a complete adrenaline rush and there’s nothing like it.xoxoBefore Dad passed, he had an idea for the ranch to get better known. For a few weeks we had this photographer chick out to the ranch. She was a smokin’ blonde with blue eyes bright as bluebells, who caught Tate’s attention before I could catch hers. The chick’s name was Amanda O’Conner and after the few weeks she spent on the farm she became a friend to the family. While I was gone on rodeo I didn’t know Tate and Amanda had kept in touch, until I ran into her one day out rodeo’en. I tried to be smooth and she kissed my cheek and said if Tate ever found out I had tried somethin’ with his girl my brother would kick my a**. So we parted as friends again, although a tad more awkwardly then before. Next time I saw her and Tate, was when we all came home to tell Dad goodbye. By that time Kyle was already hitched to a local girl, Kate had moved to the big city and was runnin’ with some doctor guy, and Tate and Amanda were gettin’ hitched soon. It made Dad happy to see all of us happy – my brother’s and sister with their wives/fiancée/boyfriends and me happy with rodeo’en. Kyle and his wife too after the Ranch once Dad was gone and Tate moved out to some tiny backwoods island with Amanda. I on the other hand kept up with rodeo until I got thrown and almost killed by a bull who had it out for me. xoxoAfter I realized how easy it would be to ride until I was too old I retired. When I headed home it was in time to see how happy my brothers and sister were and that was convincing enough to me that I needed to settle down for a while. I got to be best man at Tate and Amanda’s wedding and now I’m a Uncle to the cutest couple munchkins ever! Kyle and Holly have a daughter – Aly, and Tate and Amanda have a son – Brody. The two’a ‘em are spoiled rotten thanks to me. While I had time on my hands I helped raise horses on the ranch and kept Tate’s horses in shape until he decided what he wanted done with them. When he got in touch a while ago I was surprised when he said he wanted me to bring them to him, but I was thinking about going down for a visit anyways. Seems like nows my chance to do so, and I can’t wait to see what this tiny town’s like. {☆} Likes →xoxo❥ Rodeo xoxo❥ Poker xoxo❥ Ladies xoxo❥ Football xoxo❥ My Family xoxo❥ Beer xoxo❥ Country Music xoxo❥ Horse Riding xoxo❥ Cold Weather - It's good for Cuddling ;] xoxo❥ Trucks xoxo❥ My Niece's and Nephew's {☆} Dislikes →xoxo✖ xoxo✖ Vegetables xoxo✖ Hangovers xoxo✖ Girlie Drinks xoxo✖ Hockey xoxo✖ Being Sick xoxo✖ Golf xoxo✖ Math xoxo✖ Laziness xoxo✖ Someone Messing Up My Truck xoxo✖ Somebody Screwing with my Sister's (real sister and sister in law's){☆} Theme →xoxo xoxo xoxo xoxo
