I'm pretty sure Brad is my first true OC. Used to call him Lexenos Mukaiden, realized that was stupid and weeaboo and I had to many guys named Lex anyway, so now he is Brad Elderidge.

He's a werewolf, and he's saaaaaaaaaad that he's a werewolf. I made him in D&D style, and I gave him a not-werewolf history just in case I was in a situation where I didn't need a werewolf but a human is fine too.

Brad's Story

Name: Brad Eldridge
Age: 28
Race: Werewolf (unless the RPG calls for human). He can control when he changes form (unless the GM says otherwise).
Sexual Orientation: Gay

Werewolf History: His first change was at the age of two. He was found at the age of four hunting a rabbit in the forest. He was soon taken to an orphanage given a name, and spent the next 14 years of his life moving to different orphanages. He never bothered to ask why he was moved so often because he was only a child and didn't really care why. He does remember his life before he was taken into the orphanage, he just pretends he doesn't know.

Human History: He watched his parents murdered soon after his fourth birthday. He was soon taken to an orphanage, and spent the next 14 years of his life moving to different orphanages. He never bothered to ask why he was moved so often because he was only a child and didn't really care why.

Demeanor: Calm, level-headed, stable, and very mysterious. Most people become instantly curious and ask him many questions, but usually find out little.

Nature: He actually has a pretty short temper, but he manages to control it fairly well. He always acts as a pillar of others to lean on, but is always very lonely because he never allows himself to get close enough to anyone to lean on them.

He does this, as a werewolf, because he's learned from personal experience that anyone who knows his secret will try to hunt him down and kill him.
His personal experience is this: when he was 11 years old, he fell in love with another boy at the orphanage. One night, soon after dark, they snuck out, the other boy going out with the promise of seeing "something neat." When they were at the edge of the forest near the orphanage, Brad shifted into his crinos form. The other boy ran screaming into the building. The man in charge soon came running out with a shotgun in his hands, firing like a madman. Brad took off running and didn't stop until sunrise. When the orphanage couldn't find him, they assumed that the beast had gotten him. The other boy had gone mad, and stopped speaking; he could never tell Brad's secret. He soon stumbled onto yet another orphanage, and continued his constant movement from orphanage to orphanage.

He does this, as a human, because he was forced to watch his parents die. He distances himself so he won't have to deal with losing any one he is close to.
Soon after his fourth birthday, two thugs broke into his house. His mother shoved him into the hidden closet under the stairs and told him to be quiet. The door of the closet was riddled with cracks that he could see through, and he just peered in silence as he watched his parents being shot to death.

Fighting Style: VERY good with guns, but also very proficient in street brawls.

Deception
(Brad and Ginger)

She needed help, and she needed it now. Ginger had hidden herself in a small alley that looked more like a crack in between buildings. She had declined a man because he had no money, and Pimp Daddy D would have been pissed if she had given her services without pay. She didn't want to, anyway. Unfortunately, the guy had a gun and she didn't feel like getting into a gun fight while there were still people around to identify her. She needed to find someone who'd scare the guy off. She carefully scanned the crowd, her sapphire eyes not missing a single detail. She spotted a head that was bobbing above the sea of people and she focused in on it. A man, a muscular one. She could tell he had a gun, she could also tell he didn't need one. "Perfect," she thought to herself. She forced her face to show fear, for the act had begun. As soon as he passed close enough, her arm shot out and caught his wrist. She grinned inwardly as his hand shot to grab her arm, but slackened as he noticed her.
"Please, help. I... I'm sure you can tell what I am... There's a man around the street corner who's angry at me, he's got a gun. Please, protect me."

Brad instinctively reached to break the wrist of whoever had grabbed him. He was startled when he saw that a scared young woman, just barely an adult, stared back at him. He eyed her briefly. Her attire was definitely that of a prostitute, but what was she doing in this alley? He noticed that her voice trembled audibly as she begged him for help. He couldn't just leave her out here, he couldn't let her get hurt. Good thing he knew the bartender at the bar down the street so well. He was sure she would help a fellow female of the night. He gently pulled her out of the alley, not surprised at how she fearfully clung to his arm. He guided her down the street, pulling out the gun hidden at his waist. He opened the door for her as they reached the bar. He nodded at the bartender and frowned confusedly at the look on her face. He ordered them both non-alcoholic drinks, musing over what that expression could possibly mean. The girl sat on a table, ignoring the drink he ordered. Suddenly, a man burst through the door, flailing his gun wildly. This was definitely the man, it had to be. Brad aimed at him, and heard several others pull guns out of hiding places. Color drained from the intruder's face and he quickly dropped his gun and fled. He relaxed and felt a hand slip into his. He turned to face the girl, and was shocked to see that she had a gun. She laughed at him, and her whole personality seemed to change before him.
"Did you think I was helpless?" She laughed again, it wasn't pleasant. "I used you. That man wouldn't have dare shot at me with a big, burly man next to me." He could feel malice drip from those three words, and he heard the bartender shout "That's our Ginger." He didn't like this. He didn't like her. He wordlessly slammed down the payment for the drinks he ordered and walked quickly out of the bar, glad to be away from the evil that radiated from that girl.

Someone Like Me
(Brad and Lex)
(Note: Didn't change Brad's name, cause it's cuter.)

He held the young boy in his arms, stroking his hair and finally enjoying the closeness of another person. He brushed a strand of hair from the boy’s face, the boy’s name falling from his lips. “Lex....” He was in love once more, and this time he didn’t have to be afraid. He wasn’t human, but neither was the boy. He no longer had to be afraid, he didn't have to hide. He wouldn't drive the man he loved away in fear. Such relief was pure bliss. The boy’s face was just as blissful, his lips beckoning for a kiss. He happily obliged, his soul soaring as their lips touched, their souls joining through a tender kiss.

"Lex, I'm so glad I found you."

"It's alright, Lex," the young boy said happily. "Though I think having the same name will take a little getting used to." He giggled. Lexenos thought he had the cutest giggles.
