Any guild member is welcome at our guilds chat space. I will tell you all ahead of time if we will have a special event there. But everyone is welcome at any time of day or night. However, sometimes I will have staff meetings there. But I will let you know when those are.

Hi there, Hope. Even though it's really new, I was just curious as to whether you like the guild chat space. I'm thinking about buying one for my guild... but can you tell me if you think it's worth it?

I love the idea, I just think you have to use it right. But I guess I will find out after our first or second guild event.

I am trying to recall how you buy a chat space - I think there was an announcement, but I can't find anything now. And now the question has come up if a clan can also purchase one. Do you purchase chat space in the same way and place as a subforum? And where do you do that? (And why do all these questions surface at such an indecent hour? Idk...but at least I did finally remember to ask.)

Its under moderator Panel. You have to buy it, and it lasts forever but is only open to the members of your guild. It costs 100k

A clan is very similar to a guild, but in zOMG there is a feature called Clan Chat. When it is working, you can talk to any member of your clan that is anywhere in zOMG - and only your clan members. Because of that feature, you can only be in one clan at a time, unlike guilds. There is also no charge for a clan, but you pay 2.5k per subforum and for announcements, just like guilds. Those are the only differences I've seen so far, probably the only major ones. They are zOMG clans, but the one I am in only requires you to have an interest in zOMG (like a fan of the zOMG-themed items or comics would be welcome). I just bought a guild and am learning the differences, but am also seriously considering leaving the clan I am in to start a new one.

I am not a zOMG-hard, though I tried playing once or twice. Just wasn't quite my thing. So that explains why I wouldn't have known what a clan is! xp Thanks for the info!

Let me know if you ever want to try it again - I killed myself entirely when I first tried it, was 0-0-0 instead of 100-100-100 on health-stamina-ghi. A friend finally gave me lessons, and it was fun then!
