Enthallion followed Tashi into the cave. He saw a small sweet looking foal who looked so scared it made his heart hurt. "Of course we wont hurt you." he reassured her. "When was the last time you saw your mother?" He winced at the mention of the blanket, they may never find the small square of fabric, which was unfortunate as they were so cherished by the foals and indeed the older Azrein. His sat in a hollow knoll of the great pine along with Ion's and Tide's old blankets. He didn't think Hellfyre had brought his but he asumed it would show up eventually.

"I-I don't know..we were, um, north of here, I think, when the storm hit. I-I don't know where she is. She said to keep running straight and I would find this cave..." Schuyler was speaking through her sobs.
"Would you like us to help you look for her, sweetie? When the storm clears we'll look for her ok?" Tashi said reassuringly. She nodded before saying, "Thank you. My name is Schuyler." The little girl said sweetly."I'm Taoshira, but you can call me Tashi, little one." All Tashi could think of was keeping this little girl safe, and hopefully finding her mother. But if not, Tashi was not going to let this little girl out in the world by herself.

Enthallion was sorry to see such a young filly in such distress, it brought him back to the day he was rescued from the lake in almost the same situation. He was so proud of Tashi, she was doing exactly what he would have done, it made his heart swell. "My name is Enthallion, but since that is a mouthful you may call me Thali.
"We will look for your mother little darling. Don't worry you will be safe. Tao and I will take care of you." He winked at the foal. He then nudged Tao with his hip and sent his love through his eyes.

"What-what if we don't find my momma?" Schuyler asked, afraid of the answer. The storm was bad, and it was still raging outside. She might be young, but she was sense-able.
"We'll take care of you darling. We promise we won't let anything happen to you." Tashi said whole-heartedly. She really did want to just take this little foal home with her, but she knew that would be selfish. She had to at least try to find her mother first.

Enthallion winked at Tashi a foal was a big responsiblility. "Yes and then you could be my princess." Said Enthallion, playing on the fact that she was a girl and being a princess was apparently a lot of fun.... not that he would know.
Enthallion bent down and tickled the foal with his snout.

"I've always wanted to be a princess!" Schuyler said happily and then giggled when the stallion Thali tickled her. "So, if we don't find my momma I can stay with you two?" she said innocently.
"Yes sweetie. You can." Tashi said as she nuzzled the foal. "It looks like the storm has stopped now. Lets go look Schuyler." She gently pushed the foal up and lead towards the cave entrance.
After days of searching, the trio couldn't find Schuyler's mother anywhere. The storm had wiped away any evidence anybody being there. They couldn't even see their own tracks. Trees were fallen, rivers flooded, it really was a bad storm. And as promised, the orphaned foal got a new family.
