The woman's arms were sliding back behind her male companion when her fingers caught something soft. Her brief moment of feeling stupid for hugging him so closely and in front of the human was lost. Keeping her hand where it was, she opened her eyes, finding nothing but a furry purple thing blocking her view. On the other side of it, she could just make out her fingers, absentmindedly stroking it as she did her own tail.
It felt like baby's fur. Like the fur of a kitten Pokemon. She had already been aware of how fluffy his tail was months ago, when he had showered in her house. It had been, for lack of a better word, poofy at the time. She never expected it to be soft. On the first Mewtwo, who created all those stories, it was almost....Charming. In a cute way.
"I'm sor--" she had started to say, retracting her hand back to the exposed parts of her chest.
When something said by the male Mewtwo made her stop. The blush crept quicker to her face as she rose up to level with his eyes. Or where level with his eyes would have been if he had been looking at her. Wrapping one arm around his neck, she laid her chin on his shoulder, her tail flicking impatiently below her. As bold as the owner, it crept up in the air to use Xero's as a hook, hanging loosely once more.
On the other side of the roof, Eddie was beginning to think this had been a bad idea. But Eddie, unfortunately, was never a clever one. He swallowed his fear and kept on.
"I do regret to inform you I have always been interested in those stories. Hence why I have taken such an interest in a gorgeous specimen as this lady. Pray tell. I am aware Mewtwo are created as weapons. But are they created with all the normal functions of Pokemon? ....And humans?" he added slyly, giving Prisca a glance that she returned with a glare. Knowing exactly what he meant, the woman went more crimsoned, reaching up with the hand not around Xero's neck to toss a ball of ice in the human's direction. Eddie sidestepped quickly as the ball froze the ground where his feet had been.
"I grow tired of you," she was saying with venom in her deep voice. "I have half a mind to let him do whatever he wants to you."

Xero let out a laugh. This was a bold young lad, or just stupid. Likely the latter. His tail flicked in response to Prisca's habitual petting, but all his focus remained on Edward. Bold or stupid, he was amusing.
"Now now, I asked for a simple apology for your ungentlemanly behavior and my lady has yet to hear it. That ice should have been a nice hint of your crudeness... You have yet to gain even that I suspect."
With those words he gently caressed Prisca's cheek with a hand before he carefully pulled away from her. As he pulled away he took a quick moment to give the back of her hand a gentle peck. After the quick moment all attention went to the obnoxious brat.
"You should be very grateful to this lovely lady, I have held back for her sake. Now-" Xero chuckled. "-I should give a fan of my legends a fist hand experience of how I work shouldn't I? Or perhaps I can give you one last chance to amend things properly with Ms. Prisca?"

Stubborn. That was a good word to explain the human male still standing his ground at the approaching Mewtwo. Any sane person would have run long ago. Not Edward. Prisca knew this fact well. No matter how many times she had made him go pale at her own voice of words, he kept coming back. Why, she wasn't sure. Why, she didn't care.
In truth, the man felt he was too far into this to just step down. No matter how much he was threatened.
"A sorry will make you stand down? Thought it was in the nature of the Mewtwo to want destruction. Why should two words make you rethink?"
Behind the taller man Prisca settled back on the ground, her hands going to her sides to clinch at the skirt of her dress. She wasn't nearly enjoying this as much as she could tell Xero was. If it were up to her, she'd turn around and go home. It wasn't like the man could follow her. Or even knew where she lived.
So she opted to watch, taking a few steps forward to keep the other Mewtwo in grabbing distance just in case he planned to do something she knew he shouldn't.

"Oh, no dear boy. I never said it would fully protect you. One would be wise to make amends in life before entering the after life..." Xero laughed than teleported behind Edward within a blink. His hand snatched up the back of Edward's jacket collar in a tight fist. "Ms. Prisca, I fear I will have to excuse myself for the night. I shall make this up to you at another time."
The next instant he teleported again creating a flash of light before he took off to prevent following. At least for the moment.
Sounds of the party were quickly replaced by sounds of crashing waves below them. The beach was not that far out, but seemed small due to the height they were above the ocean.
Xero let go of the jacket and floated around in front of Edward, whom was held in the sky by Xero's own powers.
"Terribly sorry, I fear no lady should bear witness..." He mused darkly. His eyes remained locked onto Edward's. "Did you know a human body, to be fully reduced to ash, must be burned in a fire over 1958 degrees? An amusing discovery that took me a single day of hands on research to discover...." He laughed and gave that a moment to sink in before continuing. " Or perhaps that when one is not careful of probing another being's mind they could inflict a mass amount of pain? Hmn, I would be very curious to see what is on that little mind of yours....."
Xero rubbed his chin. At that moment Edward would begin to feel a slight pricking as Xero begin to scan over bits of his mind.
