Hat pulled low over her eyes, which were covered by her oldest mask, Icy sinked herself deep in her clothing. Feeling the soft fabric of her cloak wrap itself around her shamefully bare shoulders, she concentrated on the feelings pouring through her skin to ease out the ones whispering in her heart. Sneeking through the main enterence, she hugged the wall, watching the others around her. Finally reaching the stairs, she nearly bolted up them to find a spot to just sit and watch others be happy.

The music from the iPod cycled again, but Rei no longer stood to sing along. She sat down, a her mind wandering far away. Absently, she wiped a tear from her eye.

As the song winded down, DV smiled to Kia and thanked her for the dance, excused himself, then went over to the newest arrival.
"May I have the next dance?"

The comment produced a near automatic eyeroll from Rei, snapping her out of her contemplation. "How many times have i heard *that* one?" she muttered, amused.
Rei stood and headed over to Kia. "Happy V-day. How many hearts did you break today?" she inquired, a goofy grin still on her face

Trembling slightly from nervousness, she bit her bottom lip. It has been ages since she last danced with another male. And at least he didn't have a clue either. She had seen how the man smoothly led the other girl eariler and prayed to the Mods that she could have half of the grace that the OMFG wearer had.

She returned the grin to Rei, "So adorable. Too bad it's almost over." With another yawn she leaned back and pulled her hat ever more over her eyes, "I need a catnap, Rei. Wake me up in the 'morn.."

Smiling up brightly at him, she had the sudden desire to see his eyes. Keeping her hands where they belonged, she tilted her head to the side. Relaxing against his touch, she started to follow his lead and allow the music flow over her body.
"Alright. I trust you."

Rei frowned. "I think you wake earlier than I do." She walked back to the Sound system and seeing that the dances were done, shut it off. "Night folks," she muttered, before retrieving the iPod and walking out.

Where had she hidden those darn candies? Well, she sure had taken her sweet time, she had in fact missed her target. Again.
And the party had faded. She tucked the small presents by the Modist's doors and slipped away into the night, plotting for the next party to come.
