Okay, this is where we can all share our experiences about our first guild. What is was about, how much or a success or not that is was, what happened to it, things like that. Oh, and what we learned from our first guild.
Okay, I will go first.
My first guild was either 6months or a year after I joined Gaia, I think. It was a werewolf Rp and I cant recall how many members it had but it was active for quite sometime. I sucked at banners and main pages, and I was very illiterate. I had no idea what god modding, one liners, or other things were. I really couldnt using coding in my posts and it was a complete mess. But eventually it died down and I decided to close it and sell it. I however, did keep one or two friends from the guild who I rp with still today. Gosh, I think it was called Liekos Wolf Pack... But I learned that I needed to have better organization and improve on my ideas and posting. I also had to find better ways to recruit members. But after that I owned like....6 or 8 guilds. Im not sure really, because I would close down and re-do alot of them.

Actually I would love to start another werewolf Rp, I love them so. But I like it when they are smaller. I think once they get passed 40 or 50 active members....it gets a little much for me.

lol i had about the same history with my fist guild. It was very newbieish, and i wasn't even semi lit.! it was a complete mess! But my guild was quite active for about a year. Lol, it was a roleplaying guild about lions and wolves and a great war (not such a good plot now that i look back at it). It was my first guild and i was very proud of it too. I still have but its dead, every now and then we have stragglers trying to re-make the guild, but its never the same. I was actually able to get two very good rp buddies out of it. It was by far the best guild i ever had biggrin

my first guild was years ago. It was a school based one that got popular before i quite Gaiaonline for a few years. lost the account i had back then. no clue what name i could of used

My first guild was a Naruto based roleplaying guild. I've always been quite literate, as I write stories in my spare time,I just didn't know about BBcode and the slang terms "godmod", "one liners" and the like. It wasn't put together very well and had no plot. Just everyone doing their own thing. It eventually died. I've owned.....ten gulds, most remakes, since then. I currently own four that are in construction stage.

The first guild that I ever owned...
Well, it was a co-ownership with my daughter and best friend, and we had some sort of a... discussion forum... that crashed and burned.
Some of the discussions were a little... controversial. lol

Nice stories everyone! *O* I still have my first guild and I'm very proud of it. *O* It's Artisans Unite!!! It's actually quite the nice guild. It's a place for Artists of all kinds to come and post! We accept anyone who is willing to share their work. What makes my guild different though is the criticism. In my guild, the Artist's work is criticized, but only so that we can help him/her on improving. It's a nice guild and it has rp's and is has a very friendly and laid back environment. The rules aren't too strict. Of course, I don't allow porno or anything like that but gory pictures are fine and any other. It's a fun guild filled with many unique, different and inspirational people. I definitely love my guild and probably won't let it down till I quit Gaia. .

The first guild I owned was a "Chat Guild" which was very active for awhile, then I became un-active. When I came back I opened up The Random Guild which is now a popular guild! I'm planning on opening up another guild soon! (:

I still have my first guild... ._. I bought it off one of my friends and it started out as Say-Wha-?
It didn't really have a point to it and over time I realized that there were many, many hang out guilds and mine wasn't really going to be much more than them, so one day when I got an idea for the story I wanted to write, I changed its focus to that of my story.
Now it's a roleplay/event oriented guild...it doesn't have many people right now but right now I could care less if it had over 10k+ rather than less than 50. Why? I highly doubt most of them would be active xD
Mine has really cool ideas and dedicated people ^^ as long as we work together, in time we will make it a success.

My first guild was the Bonny Buccaneers--I still own it, but it's not very active. I'm trying to make it a comic-project hot-spot, but so far no luck.

My first guild was a pokemon roleplaying guild, it's pretty much dead, but every now and then me and my friends go back and continue, that lasts for about two hours, then we leave it again...

Hm, I was co-captain of Random Club. It was intended to be a small little guild. It got pretty active, real fun, and met quite some interesting people, haha. My friend passed ownership over to me, since he was getting more and more inactive due to school. Changed the name to Random Kingdom~ The Castle of Randomness! . Now, even the most active back then are dwindling down /: I sort of expect my current guild to die within a few months unless some sort of miracle happens.
