This might sound confusing and then again this might now. But bear with me.
If a guy likes a guy, he's gay.
If a girl like a girl, she's lesbian.
So does that mean if a girl likes a guy she's gay
and if a guy likes a girl, he's lesbian.
Tell me what you think about this.

I thought they were just straight. Lesbian and gay are terms reserved for girls who like girls and guys who like guys respectively.
Although I've heard 'gay' being used for lesbians, too.

I see what you are trying to get at, but it just doesn't work. Gay is a term for people who are attracted to the same gender, not people who are attracted to guys. And lesbian is a term for women who are attracted to women, not people who are attracted to women.
Then again maybe I'm overthinking this and it's just a joke, but it's a pretty terrible joke if that's the case.
