 Aoi was roughly dropped on a flat surface, his crate was rather uncomfortable. "when am I getting out?", the neko cried, quickly silencing as he heard the merchant hit the crate. Aoi peepd through the little slits on the box as the merchant rung the door bell, then he heard the man running off, leaving Aoi behind. "Dun leave me!", Aoi mewed to the one who had dropped him off, he backed up to the wall of the crate and closed his eyes in fear.

 Baldr walked around to the front of his house when he heard someone speak. People usually didn't make it out this far, he thought silently. He looked to the hawk on his arm, "Munin, fly. Greet our fleeing friend." Munin took flight and gave chase to the merchant for a time before turning back. While his feathered friend saw to the merchant, Baldr pried the lid off the crate on his porch, curious to see what lingered within it.

Aoi's eyes grew wide in fear as he seen the crate open "mfffffm", he wimpered, his tail abnormally fluffy. The neko stared at the man in horror, he didn't know what to say, all he knew was that he got taken somewhere. He back up to the wall even more as the top was jerked off mewing in fear, Aoi hid his face in his hands and stared sobbing.

Baldr's gaze softened as he looked down at the small catlike being, "Shh.. I won't hurt you, little one." He smiled and offered the neko his hand. "You're safe now. Are you injured?" Concern colored his tone; he hoped he hadn't scared the neko too badly.

The neko dried his tears and grabbed the others hand "N-nuu", he whimpered, he was still shakey from the experience earlier. "U-um excuse me mister, where am I?", Aoi asked cautiously.

Baldr lifted the young neko out of the box and sat him down on the porch. "Call me Baldr and you're at my estate. It's near Jonesborough, Tennessee," mischief played in his eyes. It'd been a while since he'd had company. Munin landed on the porch railing and screeched in Aoi's direction.

The cat looked around his surroundings, it was way different than his previous home. Aoi jumped at the sound of the bird "umm", he shook with fear. Munin creeped the neko out because of the storys he heard of falcons when he was little.

Baldr looked over at his hawk, "Don't worry about Munin. He's pretty well behaved." The hawk shuffled his feathers and screeched a little softer than before, then took flight back to his roost. Baldr watched the hawk fly off, "Well, if you'd like to stay.. would you like a bath?"
