Tashi giggled and blushed deeply. "I would like to explore a forest with you! I love forests, but I'm probably a little biased." She said with a laugh. "You're lucky you have uncles Thali, think of what you have and be grateful for it." She said so in not a sad voice, but rather more understanding. Tao nuzzled closer to him for warmth since the cold of the night was starting to creep in on their little sleeping place.

"Ahh yes the snoring, the bribing, the itching, the yelling, the tom-foolery, loads to be grateful for." he grumbled but in good-humor. "You won't htink it is so funny when Tide falls asleep and begins sawing logs." Enthallion said.
"Hey I do not snore!" Tide yelled from behind the tree."
"Oh ho! Uncle you are evedropping! Again. Don't let Opal catch you or you will get more slugs in your bed!" Enthallion called.
He whispered to Tao. "And the eavesdropping, don't forget that." he smiled at her warmly.

Tashi giggled throughout their argument. "Well if he falls asleep next to us WE can always go get slugs." She said with a mischievous smile in her face. She felt that since they've met, she's felt like she could do anything. "It's ok though, truth be told...Voreti snored sooo bad." Taoshira said before laughing. Though the fact that Thali's uncle was spying on them kind of unsettled her, she dismissed the feeling as him being protective of his nephew. "At least you know you'll always have someone looking out for you." She said quietly but lovingly.

"Oh I like that idea, i never thought of doing that myself." Enthallion was quite delighted at this new idea. "I wonder who would win the snoring contest. Tide or Voreti. They would proabably wake each other up." he laughed. It was good to have someone his age to talk too, so good. No condescending looks or drop lines like "You will understand when you are older," ugh he hated that one. "Yes but having someone always look after me is part of the problem. They are just now letting me walk alone and that is partially because I can often outrun them."

"Hmmm, I don't know. Knowing Voreti, she would probably wake up and hear Tide and shove an apple in his mouth..." Tashi said with a small giggle and then went straight faced again. "Well...maybe now they will let you be on your own a little more now." She said somewhat flirtatiously.

Enthallion snorted at the mental picture, "I guess hey? Knowing her she would dunk the apple in a nettle bush first." Enthallion looked through the waving branches to the stars glittering far above. "Perhaps they will leave me alone more. Not that I want to be caught by the six but some freedom would be nice you know." Enthallion inched closer to Tashi, she truly was warm and he was soaking up as much as he could get.

Taoshira laughed because she knew that if it was someone Voreti didn't like, that was exactly something she would do. "I understand what you mean. Unfortunately, I have as much freedom as the world now..." She said somewhat sadly, missing her home in the forest. Tashi laid her head down and closed her eyes, thinking of the events of this long day. Things had turned out good, and instead of being the worst day of her life, it was almost the best.

Enthallion watched Tao and slowly lowered his head to lay over her neck. "Tao, you are not alone. You are safe, I will protect you." Enthallion whispered to the mare. He meant what he said, he would work hard to protect her, perhaps Tide could show him a few moves that he had learned from his girlfriend Kianda.

Tashi sighed. "I know." She snuggled a little closer to him. "And I will do what can to protect you." She whispered before slipping off into sleep, content and safe.
