Alora was actually wanting company today. A rare thing for her. She didn't have many friends, so she'd have to go out and make a new one. She grabbed some of her favorite shells to share if she had to, and headed out of her coral-cave home to try and find someone.
She found herself in shallower waters, skimming along for pretty shells or rocks. She had no idea if she would find anyone since it was getting on the close side to the shore, but it felt bright and warm and pleasant, since the sun could penetrate the water.
If there was a good place to hang out, this would be one of them.
"Ooh!" She suddenly started digging, pulling out a fairly large conch shell, one that actually didn't have a hermit crab already inhabiting it.

Fae found herself sunning upon a large sea-worn rock, her chocolate tail dipping into the shallows as she gazed to the horizon. Only a few nymphs had darted by through the day, or from what she could recall as she had been in and out of sleep much of the time.
However one seemed to stick out from them all, a young black nymph with blonde hair and a tail that seemed to glitter in faded hues of gold she spied now. The nymph was swimming about with a large bunch of.. something. It was hard to tell what exactly the nymph clutched from above the surface of the sea. However, the dust cloud that nymph created soon after gave an idea. Fae's curiosity however gained the best of her as she dived from the surface, bringing her fair share of small pebbles and the alike as well as quite the noise. Something, Fae hoped wouldn't shock the other nymph too... much. Although it didnt deteer her from swimming up to the blonde haired nymph, "Ever tried to blow through one of those?" Fae asked, curiously.

At the sound of the apparent rock slide, she flicked her tail and shot backwards away from the mess, and involuntary clenched her hand around the very pointy conch and dropped her armful of seashells. Then the pale, brown nymph spoke, and Alora relaxed and swam toward the other nymph. She thought about picking up her shells, but that would look awkward and she could always get more shells.
"No, I haven't. What happens?"
She moved the conch to the other hand and held it out to her companion, rubbing her sore hand against her hip, subtly trying to soothe the indention the shell had left.
"My name's Alora, by the way."
She suddenly felt self conscious, hoping that this girl wouldn't think she was odd for not knowing what happens when you blow on a shell. But why would she? Who goes around blowing on shells? Obviously she did, and mabye it wasn't such a weird thing to do.
Alora realized she was carrying on her own conversation and stopped immediately, and settled for waiting on the girl to make her move.
