Well, on the road to getting better, I won my first championship in 2 years, the LWL World Title.
Well, the problem isn't so much with your ringwork, its more with your promoing. So sure that helps the confidence, but it doesn't target the real problem.
This is true. Still have to work on the promos, but a title is always a bonus.
If anything, it gives you an opportunity to work on your promoing. You're a champion now, so you get to talk smack.
Yeah, you have a point. Its just upsetting that the one guild that I win the world title in is the only one where im Face.
Problem is, which you don't seem to get is the guild really isn't legit. LWL's world title is essentially worthless compared to the other guilds. I mean and this is no knock to EEW, but its world title is essentially worthless right now as well.
Titles are as prestigious as the title holder, and the guild itself.
IF the guild isn't established, the world title will mean s**t even if the title holder was someone like Nuke, King, myself, etc.
There are several titles that I have won that I haven't listed simply because there's really no point in listing them, and I've noticed that several vets have done the same thing.
So I mean you can say that you're a world champion in *insert guild here* but until it's really established all it really is to us is a paper title if that. Now if you were to say I'm a world champion in WWFG or EEW or WWE:E then the subject would be completely different, because you're held at a higher caliber now and people can say 'Oh Tim or Chrono or Nuke actually put a world title on him? Well he must be good!"
A newcomer with a world title from a non established guild really means s**t, because in most cases its just guilds where people award themselves or their friends titles like its the highest honor in existance. Don't know about you, but I rather win titles knowing that I've EARNED them, because it shows that I'm the best not because someone was like 'Oh well here you go..' like what am I supposed to do, wipe my a** with this? '
Remember there's a huge difference between something prestigious and something thats not worth mentioning.
