You catch opponents off guard by playing cards right, not playing random a** cards that don't synergize well with the deck.

priestess is not a bad card and I am surprised to see someone say that it is so bluntly. it is able to give a total of 700 more attack to gravekeepers and can act as a necrovalley that can be revived with rite of spirit or summoned by gk spy. I dont really see anything bad about that sweatdrop

it doesn't give GK an extra 500 attack because it is not the real necrovalley, it merely allows you to play royal tribute or activate assailants efefct without necroalley active. it cannot beat the real field spell, so it's better off not played.
