"Lets just say I tend to do things some may or may not appreciate. Harmless things for the most part, it isn't in me to be cruel." Tien expected suspicion from those she met, it came with the territory. It was a pleasant little surprise that someone wasn't for once. The goddess scooped up the pooka and started to head off into the gardens.
"Any favorite spot in particular you can suggest?" Trickery hadn't really taken the time to travel the gardens much, perhaps the pooka knew someplace that would be nice to go.

She did things other people didn't like? En thought about this while she was scooped up, very hard if her expression was any indication. "Why do stuff like that?"
"The little houses are nice, they have pillows!" And she did so like comfy things; they were about on par with delicious things on her list of favorite stuff ever. "Everywhere around here's nice, really."

"I do those things because it is who I am." An important hint as to her identity, if the pooka was still trying to puzzle it out. She paused a moment and shifted En so she was being held safely before turning in the direction of one of the gardens miniature tea houses.
"That seems like a nice idea, lets find one close to the celebration so we can keep an eye on things."

Oh, she was definitely still trying to figure it out! The pooka even 'hmm'ed audibly at this particular clue, her fluffy tail swishing in thought. It was a fun game, really, even if it was a hard one. She snuggled up to the goddess as she was carried, never one to miss an opportunity for cuddles. "Are yoooou...Trouble?"

"Very close, though I did used to get into that quite often. Not so much yet in this lifetime yet." Tien giggled. There was plenty of time to get into trouble yet, since things weren't on the verge of Ending.
After a little while longer they made it to one of the teahouses and she set Enekpe down on a pillow, before settling herself on one and setting the sweets between them. She picked up a strawberry and bit into it while she took a moment to examine their new surroundings. "Mmm...this is a nice little place."

En frowned. She'd thought for sure that she'd had it! Well, half-sure, and either way, probably as close as she was going to get to getting the answer right. She was momentarily distracted when they arrived at the teahouse, though, and stepped gingerly about on the pillow to 'test' it before sitting close to the edge so that she could better reach their treats.
While she munched on one, she asked, "What if I don't guess right?"
Not knowing what goddess this was would totally bother her while she was trying to go to sleep later.

"Well, you are on the right track, as I said." Tien paused, pondering a hint to offer the pooka that didn't give the game away. "What sort of things can get you into trouble?" She finished the remainder of strawberry and started on a second while she gave Enekpe time to think.

That was a hard question! Enekpe had never really been one to get into trouble; the most trouble she'd ever been in was when she'd figured out how to open the fridge and eaten half of what was inside! "I...um. Being mean? Saying bad stuff? Lying? Stealing?"

Perhaps she hadn't worded the question well. That was her own fault though. Most of those, at least in part, fell into her domain. "My province of power isn't quite so narrow. Speaking in a broader sense, what are you doing when you are lying to someone?"

"I...I don't know," En answered after long moments of obvious hard thought. Games were fun and all, usually, but this one was turning out to be beyond her. She looked to the goddess, hoping for more help! Or, better yet, to just be told.

Trickery finished the remainder of her second strawberry, licking the remainder of the fruit's juice off her fingertip. "Mmm...a trick, little En." And there was that cheshire cat grin again. It was alright that the pooka hadn't found the answer, Tien didn't mind, she had been sort of vague with the clues. Enekpe, as innocent as she seemed, was still decent company.
The goddess nudged the plate toward Enekpe. "Another sweet, En?" That grin on her face still hadn't quite faded, but there was nothing to be wary of, for now at least.

"Tricks?" The little pooka flicked her ears while she considered this. There were gods and goddesses of very weird things, sometimes. Weird things in Enekpe's estimation, anyway. "Why Tricks?"
Upon the suggestion, En nibbled up another treat. Thinking made her hungry!

"Well, Trickery...if one wants to be technical about it." Tien shrugged at the question. "I think you would have to ask the Eldest why any of us are what we are. I, for one, am enjoying being myself again and not caught up in a crystalline prison." Enekpe wouldn't understand that feeling herself, but perhaps she could ask Lady Animals about it if she felt so inclined.
......“The time is come.”
A creeping feeling caught Tien's attention and she turned to look back the way they had come to the tea house. Harmodius. "I do believe that means something is going on."
......“Fair host of immortal and mortal kind, attend. “
"Shall we go see what the fuss is about En?"

"Oh. I didn't know that was a word." Which probably went some small bit of the way towards explaining why she'd been unable to guess the goddess' domain. En had developed a tendency to think of gods as things that needed to be for a reason, and couldn't comprehend what about Tricks was important enough to have a goddess.
...not that she didn't like Tien, she just didn't get it.
"Okay!" she chirped in agreement, scarfing down one more sweet before waiting to be picked up.

Tien got to her feet and bent down to pick up the En, making sure the pooka was safely tucked into her side before heading back toward the growing gathering. She had a feeling things were about to get interesting.
