Bringing his arms back again the Knight charged up both arms as Shar began his counter attack. In truth he expected not to hit him since that attack had failed before. Turning to face the man and judging the speed he was coming at him the Knight knew of a weakness in this attack.
As both staff and blade blazed towards him towards his left Rasarai forced his body to backflip higher into the air. As both attacks sailed below him Rasarai outstretched both hands which were filled with power and unleashed their fiery might. At this proximity to his opponent Rasarai knew they had to hit something. As the shining beams of pure solar energy blazed towards Shar the Knight was slowly regaining control of his demon, though using so much power was still causing problems.

The two massive weapons passed under him and quickly swung around Shar in a wide arc, pulling him farther away from Rasarai in a spiralling loop, placing the massive blade where his body should have been to 'slice' through Rasarai's blast. The Staff, meanwhile, was hurtling through the air towars the Knight in a spin that aimed to hit him not one, but twice, slamming one end into him and then bending from willpower and force of the throw to slam him again. From there, successfull or not, it would hurtle towards the ground to slam into it and repeat the process on a return trip.

Rasarai grunted angrily as he realized that he had failed once more. Using the blasts power the Knight rocketed backwards just barely missing the staff that was hurtling towards him. Though his beam was sliced it did not explode like the others, Rasarai learnt his folly from before. Realizing that he was not giving any time to counter the Knight blazed with power once more and moved at near sonic speeds to dodge the staff as it came back. Roaring angrily the Knight moved towards his opponent at sonic speeds ready to smite him once more.

As the staff came whirling back Shar caught it at the center, the two ends locking their position in the air as the center pulled back. All of the kinetic energy that had been in the staff from the throw was transfered into potential as the staff strained itself, Obelisk set upon it and unleashed in a fury of light and destruction. At his current speed towards Shar and the insane speed the blade was heading for Rasarai, he'd likely not realize what Shar had done until he woke up the next day. XD

Rasarai travelled at a speed that was almost unreachable to most men, so his senses were trained to deal with high speeds as well. As the power of the blade roared towards him Rasarai just managed to tweek his velocity so that the blades fury deflected him. As he sailed towards the shields of the stands at his current speed the Knight turned his body and smacked into it transfering his momentum into the shield walls, as it bulged angrily under the strain the Knight jumped off and floated there for a moment. Unleashing once more his chi barrier it began to glow an ominous red as he stood there powering it up. Reaching the level it was at when it took on the Obelisk Rasarai waited for his opponent to move.

Obelisk broke apart the moment it was delfected from Rasarai, a cloud of wisps hanging in the air with a single blue orb flitting around at an extreme speed. Shar himself quickly landed as he awaited his opponent's next move, the cloud slowly descending. The staff remained, but he merely held it, though he actually seemed to be leaning against it more than anything. A silence fell over the arena as a lull in the fighting seemed to arise.

Rasarai floated there as his chi barrier continued to reinforce. His red martial arts suit now heavily damaged as cuts and bruises lined his muscled body. Though damaged his eyes glinted angrily with the fiery rage of a star. Feeling the limit of his current state weighing him down the Knight muttered, "Shar...to be honest I have been holding back...since you want to fight me in my mightiest form let me show you some more of my true power." As those words left his mouth the Knights eyes blazed yellow as his aura shifted from red to a brilliant white. Unleashing a solar flare around him Rasarai transformation into Nova form was happening.
As the power of a Nova ripped into his body the Knight began to transform into his Nova form. As his body began to blaze like the midday sun the warrior focused his new power onto Shar as he transformed. As gravity began to work in the Knights favor Rasarai unleashed a small gravity well around Shar causing loose debris to fly at him with speeds close to bullets from a gun. Rasarai's mind and body began to transform into the second level of his power, but in his mind Rasarai hoped he wouldn't have to transform completely into Nova, the transformation power he was using now could be sufficient in stopping Shar.

Seeing as Shar was kinda on the ground the debris would, at most, shuffle around on the ground seeing as the gravity well was dispersed around Shar and not focused on a single point. Most debris richocheted off his large greaves to little effects as the whisps began to swirl around him with increasing speed. This short lull in the fighting had been just enough to shift gears for him as well. The air began to tremble around him as light blazed from his form as well, a golden nimbus of light that was slowly rising from his body, an obelisk of light.

As the gravity well around Shar began to focus the Knight forced the strength of the gravity by 100 fold. Using the might of the fabric of time and space the Knight literally pinned the man down with the sizemic(sp?) force of an ant being sat on by an elephant. Rasarai was not going to let anything stop him in this round. As his transformation into Nova was nearing completion he launched towards Shar with incredible speed.
The air around him literrally detonated under the sheer power and heat he was unleashing as he sped towards Shar like a blazing rocket. As power overwhelmed his senses he placed one subconscious thought into his mind just before he lost himself into Nova.
The transformation was magnificent...the ground literrally erupted into a mixture of lava and rock as the air supercharged and became the heat of 6000 degrees in a matter of seconds, as the Nova form of Rasarai charged towards Shar the shields of the stadium buckled and strained under the might of the Lord of the Fortress. Light as bright and as hot as the sun filled the arena knowing full well that this would be an advantage to Rasarai.
Then the trap occured, the single thought of subconscious act triggered when Rasarai reached a distance of 50 metres from the man. The power that had accumulated into Rasarai ripped itself from him as he detonated with the explosive power of something almost unfathomable. As energy and explosive force equal enough to level everything within 20 miles around them into nothing within moments filled the stadium the heat skyrocketed to 20 000 degrees as the stadium shields fought desperately to hold on. The explosion was so powerful it funnelled into the sky burning the air and burning away a portion of the atmosphere.
Knowing full well that nothing would be fast or strong enough to take such an explosion at close range Rasarai fell to the ground and landed awkwardly on the broken stadium floor which was now a mixture of both lava and very very hot rock. As his body was now almost totally exhausted followed by very bad injurries around his form Rasarai had one last trump card he would use in order to win...but if used this could mean the end of his life. As debris filled the air he wondered if Shar managed to survive such a tactic, he did not want to fight him in Nova, he just wanted to fight him using the best of his tactics.

The one problem was that Shar was no longer within the gravitational field, pulled up into the glow to the top of the spire that had grown up from him. He seemed to be immune to the effects of the gravity upon him as light seemed to envlope his form, casting off the destructive force the initial heat could produce upon him. The light was matched by his own as the bloud seemed to take shape.
The Essense of Obelisk was born again.
The air screamed as the blade merely sat and vibrated, drawing in air at an incredible rate as the heat dissapated around it from the influx of cooler air. Two great golden wings spread out behind Shar as he floated mere inches from the massive hilt. As it was lifted the ground around it fell away, obliterated.
The air quaked as it moved not an inch, pulsing as the raw destruction tore through the stadium. As Rasarai did so approach the blade would move towards him to meet the explosion and cleave it in two. The blade seemed to simply obliterate the force as it came towards it, breaking the explosion into nothingness as the near entirety was simply washed away in a sea of opposing chaos.
He could fly no more, and he had only seemed to move the blade in the one small swing before he collapsed against it, the whole slowly sinking into the earth as it tore up the ground, the molten rock standing no chance against oblivion. He showed no signs of having any other Soulmelds but the Essense of Obelisk.

As he slowly descended his voice filtered down to Rasarai through the winds, "Yo, I'm in the mood for a beer or some date wine. What'd you say we just say to hell with this and go to Los^t?"

Rasarai almost couldn't believe what had happened...his blast was somehow defeated! "Wha..." mumbled the Knight as he sagged into the ground on one knee as his Nova Power was almost reduced to nothing. But when he saw Shar descend he realized the warrior also expended alot of power to combat his blast. Hearing his words the Knight smiled saying, "Sure...that was a good fight I do prefer something to drink I wonder do they sell Sake there?" The Knight smiled happily as his chi totally vanished from his form revealing the true extent of his injuries. His body was riddled with bruises and heavy cuts and blood caked over some of the injuries he recieved from the fight, but he did not care he had experienced another true battle and that was a reward in itself. "Those weapons of your sure freaking hurt." laughed Rasarai as he stood up agreeign to his conditions of a drink.
((DRAW!...well maybe its up to you, darn I didn't get to use the one move I thought would work oh well lol. Good match Tac I learnt much more in that fight once again. Um...just Puppet me into Lost if you want. lol))

As Obelisk totally disappeared into the ground Shar hopped off to double over and support himself by propping himself up, arms locked and pressing against bent knees. He nodded as the wings began to break apart into wisps of incarnum and fade into the air. The great hole in the earth seemed to suddenly become nothing more than a gash left by the great blade. He looked up to Rasarai with a bit of a smile, "I think you burned my shirt. Thats...a first." He glanced around at the stands that were now empty cause the shields had been previous destroyed. He laughed to himself as the blue orb began flitting around him again, "I think we scared them all off again, brother." He still seemed to spit the last word with poison upon his tongue, but looked back to Rasarai nonetheless, "Don't care if Torment joins us, do ya?" Either way, Tor or not, the two would go off to Los^T to get totally hammered.
