1) Do you think that gay marriage should be legal? -- I don't see any reason for it not to be legal anywhere.
2) Do you think that gays should be allowed to seve in the military? -- Discrimination against sexual orientation is the last form of legal discrimination, so, yes, they should be allowed to.
3) What do you think about people who don't believe in god? -- They've made their choice, and I've made mine. Whether it differs or not, I don't care.
4) Are you Pro-Life or Pro-Choice? -- I myself am pro-life, but if there was ever a circumstance where someone had to choose abortion, then I wouldn't belittle them about it ( you know, unless it's the only form of contreception they are willing to use.
5) Do you think animal testing should be banned? -- I think it's an issue everyone must choose their own side on. I still don't know. It's vital to our survival, but also ends in the cruel deaths of many animals. It all comes down to whos' lives we value the most; animal or human - and I value neither one more than the other.
6) How do you feel about illegal immigration? -- It's causing a lot of hassle for the rest of us, but their has to be a reason why they are so desperate to get out of their own country.
7) Do you think it is ethical to do stem cell research? -- Yes, I do. As much as I hate the thought of how they possibly got their hands on the stem cells, it's vital for the survival of many, many people.
8 ) Is torture ever acceptable? -- No. Never.
9) Should the government have a say on our diets? -- Bah! They have too much say in our lifestyles! Their job is to keep the country under control, not rule our lives. They should be advising and solving the problems with Scotland, not running around telling us we need to eat so much of this, this and this. Their whole campaign is making children weight concious far too early!
10) Should the alcoholic drinking age be increased or decreased? -- Well, that depends. Technically, with the parents consent, anyone can consume alcohol over the age of five when they are at home. At sixteen you can drink with a meal. At eighteen you can buy alcohol. At twenty-five, you can buy alcohol from a supermarket. Honestly, it's a pretty weird system, but it shouldn't be decreased. If anything, it should be increased.
11) Should cigarette smoking be banned? -- ... what, completely? It probably should, but what with the amount of money it would cost the NHS to put everyone through whatever withdrawl they end up with, we'll have to just stick to it being illegal in certain public places.
12) Should Medical Marijuana be legal? -- That would be rather complicated to control, but if it was possible, yes. It's a very helpful drug to have on hand in a hospital.
13) Do you think the 2003 invasion of Iraq was justified? -- I really don't know.
14) What do you think about Teen Pregnancy? -- Not necessarily their fault, but if they're the kind of person who sleeps around without caring, then let's face it,they're idiots.
15) Do you think there should be more or less gun control? -- Well, guns are completely illegal here unless they follow stringent rules, I think they're fine.

yes, legal, but it will never ever become a religious ceremony, which sucks
for religious couples.
2) Do you think that gays should be allowed to seve in the military? --
of course they should. I have a gay cousin in the Canadian Airforce as we
speak.
3) What do you think about people who don't believe in god? --
I think they can believe in whatever they wish, as long as they don't bash me
for believing in God.
4) Are you Pro-Life or Pro-Choice? --
Prolife, though I recognize in certain situations like rapes, that it can be hard
on the mother. Also Pro-adoption.
5) Do you think animal testing should be banned? --
If it causes injury or pain to the animal, or course it should be. If they are
testing animal's mental capabilities for psychological purposes then that's
fine as long as no harm comes to the animal.
6) How do you feel about illegal immigration? --
I'm all for it! Haha, no but seriously I think that if you have a better chance to
live and make something of yourself in another country, I don't think that's a
bad thing.
7) Do you think it is ethical to do stem cell research? --
If taken from cord blood, yes, but from an actual embryo, not at all.
8 ) Is torture ever acceptable? --
Torture will always be a reality in war. Always. However, I hate the thought of
it. I cannot stand the thought of putting someone through unbelievably
harmful sitations; both physically and mentally.
9) Should the government have a say on our diets? --
They Import the food. They ALREADY have a say.
10) Should the alcoholic drinking age be increased or decreased? --
Increased to 21 (only 18 where I am). Not like it will do anything to stop teen
drinking, because drinking is endorsed by our culture, as is getting drunk
and partying. Unless that ideology changes, nothing can really be done
about teen drinking.
11) Should cigarette smoking be banned? --
Of course it should. But once again I realize that making it illegal will not
stop people from smoking, and might actually encourage more risk-taking
behavior. I'm all for limiting the places you can smoke, making smoking
ideologically gross and leaving it at that.
12) Should Medical Marijuana be legal? --
...It is legal here, lol. I have a guy in my neighbourhood that sells his to the
highschool kids. Though admittedly there is a lot more illegal weed in my
neighbourhood. I live in such a great place >.>
13) Do you think the 2003 invasion of Iraq was justified? --
No, but on some levels it was necessary. Once the US pulled out, civil war
broke out and the people there are suffering. However, despite the fact
that "countries should take care of themselves" I can't help but think of
Rwanda in 1994.
14) What do you think about Teen Pregnancy? --
I think teens are stupid and impulsive. I should know. I think they should
have the baby and give it up for adoption if they can't take care of it.
15) Do you think there should be more or less gun control? --
More. A hell of a lot more. And I live in Canada, where everyone and his son
doesn't own a gun. Hunters and policemen have guns, and that's the way it
should be. No one needs a gun to "protect themselves" here. You have a
switchblade and most of the time that should be enough.

Of course it should be. I honestly don't see why it isn't.

I know some gay dudes that could kick my a** up and down the street any day of the week. My lazy, fat a** shouldn't be allowed in the military, but there is no reason they shouldn't be. There sexual persuasion doesn't affect their ability.

I think they're wrong, but I don't get in their face about it and don't say anything about it.

I'm pro-choice. I would never want an abortion for any child of mine, no matter what. I don't agree with abortion at all, but think its up to them, not me.

No. I'd rather it be tested on them than a human.

Doesn't bother me.

Yes. It can do great things.

No. We should all eat healthier though.

6) How do you feel about illegal immigration? -- It takes jobs from legal immigrants and native-born citizens, but it's also the only way those illegal immigrants can get jobs. I'm on the fence about it.

i do, considering that apparently people of the christian faith have married same-sex couples before. plus, marriage is a civil right, and it stops becoming religious freedom when it starts infringing on other people's rights.

if they want to fight for their country, let them (this goes for anyone who wants to serve).

it depends, really. stem cell research can possibly lead to amazing things, but it would have to be done in a way where it would be possible to gather stem cells without harming anyone.

define what type. but if we're talking beating people up for information or whatever, then no.

no. what i eat is a personal matter.

hmm. well, as far as i know it's fine. i don't think it should be decreased at all, but not increased either. i'll say increased for the sake of this, though.

well, no. it could be banned from certain areas entirely, but smoking's been around for a while and it would be a disaster if smoking was banned.

it depends. there's no difference between medical and illegal marijuana, so i'll say no at this moment. if there was control over how much someone could buy, use, and all that, maybe.

i don't know much about it, so i'm not going to answer that question.

it wouldn't happen as much if we weren't so hush-hush about sex and sex ed. if said teenager was raped and got pregnant, that's a different story entirely.

Of course, I don't see why the government should be able to keep two people in love from marriage. It's not hurting us, everyone has the right to be happy.

I'm a christian, though I have no problems with people who don't believe in what I believe. If it makes ya' happy, I have no problems... UNLESS your gonna be all like "That crap is stupid, why do you believe in that Shiz-nit?!" Then we have a problem.

3) What do you think about people who don't believe in god? I don't really think anything about someone without knowing more than simply whether they're an atheist or not.
4) Are you Pro-Life or Pro-Choice? Pro-choice.
5) Do you think animal testing should be banned? Not banned, but better regulated.
6) How do you feel about illegal immigration? I'm all for immigration, when done legally. It's not much of an issue in my country compared to the situation in the US.
7) Do you think it is ethical to do stem cell research? Yes.
8 ) Is torture ever acceptable? I would like to say "no", but I am probably just being naive.
9) Should the government have a say on our diets? In what way? We have laws about what ingredients can be added to foods, and I'm fine with that. They could be a lot more strict, in my opinion.
10) Should the alcoholic drinking age be increased or decreased? It's 19 here, and I don't really see the need to raise or lower it.
11) Should cigarette smoking be banned? No. I hate everything about cigarettes, but banning them isn't going to solve anything.
12) Should Medical Marijuana be legal? I think marijuana should be legal, especially considering alcohol and cigarettes are.

14) What do you think about Teen Pregnancy? Uh, I guess I think that it's difficult and something to be avoided, and is one of the reasons why comprehensive sex education is so important in schools.
