That fact that you can put yourself in other people's shoes, and care what they care about (even if only in a sense that helps you fit in better) means you HAVE empathy and therefore aren't really a sociopath, BUT you don't need more random internet stranger assurance, so try a research article!
There's a list in here that describes requirements for psychopathic diagnosis granted the list is the shortened version the authors prefer, but it still uses the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders as a basis, which is widely used and trusted in mental health services.
Frankly in my personal opinion, you write with patience for others and seem smart, the fact that you want to exhibit social norms means that you don't disrespect them, and you don't seem to blame others for your issues.
To be blunt, you seem bored with what society has to offer (in the sense of interaction/ challenges), and you may feel contemptible towards the general population because they
are so easily appeased by what is offered. Then again you may be slightly antisocial, but I'm sure if that's the case you're not alone.
And as for the combat clothes in everyday situations, I always wear shoes I can run in and contemplate ways to keep myself safe in public, I have a whistle on my key chain and have couple years of martial arts (and I size up people I'm not comfortable around). I'm a girl so maybe society influenced my focus more towards self protection than a predatory instinct, but that doesn't mean I don't have them. People just use their instincts/sense of self awareness at different levels.
In any case I hope you clear this up, and should you want to read more articles, there are free versions offered on google scholar, just take a look and see that they have verified references.
Good luck! ^.^
