Personality: A feisty young woman who has a terrible taste for practical jokes. She tends to stay very cheerful, even in difficult conditions. Her science is her life, so you'd best know what your talking about if you challenge her.
Biography: Areta grew up with her father, the local doctor of a small village. She grew up watching him mix herbs into remedies as well as other helpful compounds. However, knowing how to mix them wasn't enough for Areta's curiosity, she needed more. With her father's permission she traveled to a near by school in order to learn the latest's discoveries. Being a mere 13 years old at the time was not helpful to Areta's plans, since the professors kicked her out at once. Thus began an incredible battle of wits and creativity as she bombarded the scientist with clever pranks involving top notch skill with chemicals. Within a year, she was allowed into the Academy. After four years of study, she began a journey around the world to learn from other chemists.
Areta's pranks continuously got her into trouble over the following years, which led to a most recent and rather messy brawl one night in a tavern. When a rough sailor began making rude passes at her, she slipped one of her favorite potions into his beer. The man was dashing to the bathroom for hours while Areta laughed. His friends found this less than funny and began attacking her. After a few bombs, Areta was hauled off for disturbing the peace. She can now be found in prison.
