I stubbed my big toe yesterday.
But not just a small stub, no.
It got hit HARD!
The nail fractured. A giant crack that can be seen separating the entire right corner. (it'll fall off after a while)
And the whole area under the nail turned purple from the busted blood vessles. (and a piece of the bottom turned down to poke at my skin that's under the nail)
I couldn't walk without a cane, and only for a min at a time, for the whole rest of the day.
Today, I can walk without the cane (so far)
but my toe feels like an over-filled balloon that's threatening to pop,
everytime I step on it, due to all the pressure inside.
I hope it's better by the animecon...
Cause I'M GOING THERE WHETHER I'M COMPLETELY HEALED OR NOT !!! (believe it!!! ... sorry, been watching naruto) ^^;

Well, I "was" doing good.
But apparently still need to keep it elevated.
I tried not elevating it, but the pressure built up,
so I had to start using the cane again.

I totally understand what you're talking about. Remember one of the anime con's I went to with you guy's. I stubbed my toe so bad I stripped the nail off remember? I still made it through the anime con though...but I did have to cut out a bit early, but still went. So I totally feel your pain and understand. Hope you feel better soon. Just keep it elevated and try ice? I don't know just relax and let it heal as much as it can then be careful with it.

Yeah, I remember that. At least you got to enjoy the CON
for the most part ^^;
And yeah, yesterday I managed to stay walking for most of the day.
Keep it moving and don't let the blood pool in my toe.

Oh god... gonk
Did you even go to the doctor? lol Now that thing runs a high risk of turning into an ingrown toenail in the future. My sister bashed her big toe really hard a couple years ago and ruined the entire nail. Took a little over a year before it grew back just fine.
I stub my toes every now and then but man not that hard. (which is just as well because i'm a big baby and would cry and faint if i had nails coming off)

He's a fast healer. It looks pretty good already. 3nodding He's already had trouble with that toe anyway. When we were kids, he dropped a glass panel from dad's gun case on it and cut off most of the nail. It developed a fungus for a while. xp

>.< I remember slamming my toe once so hard it broke... I was so upset at the time and so in shock I didn't even know where I got the thought in my head but I had taken pliers and ripped the nail all the way off... then I snapped to my scenes and went into shock and passed out. xd I don't suggest pulling it all the way out unless it gets really bad and can't do anything about it.

Dude: Good for you! You go and have a good time. Come on if I can you can man! Just be careful that was my biggest concern was someone stepping on my toe so just be care about that you should be fine. ^_^
Ravin: *shivers* Ew! Wow I don't even know what to say to that but Wow... *shivers again* Uh...yeah I stripped off my toe nail on accident. Didn't even realize I had till a friend comes in and points and says, "Wow you're toes red and angry." That's when I look down and I'm like "Wow" then the pain kicked in, in high gear. Washing it was the worst part and then sleeping...and the bandage...but I lived. You...wow...just wow... Yeah I wouldn't suggest that idea either. *shivers*

Yip... when I get mad and don't realize what I'm doing, that time is not a good time for god to do that to me...
God: "Well, I guess she can't get any more angry. Lets make her bash her toe really hard and break it to get it out of the way..."
Me: "WTF?!" 'RIP!!' "God damn you toe!!"
God: "OMG! WHY DID SHE DO THAT?!"
Me: 'realizes and passes out'
lol, I'm pretty sure that's what god would have done.

And no... no doctor.
I will lose the right corner as it's already becoming loose.
But there would have been even MORE damage,
if that same toe hadn't been hit with a large sheet of glass, when I was younger,
that completely ripped the nail off.
AKA: this is that toes SECOND nail, and it's MUCH harder.

================================================== UPDATE !!!
Today my toe finally popped from all the excess blood pressure.
Somthing under the nail came open and blood started oozing out.
I went to the bathroom, and repeatedly afterward throughout the day,
to drain the excess by squeezing my toe a little.
It's pressure is back to normal, for the most part.
I'm just glad that it stopped hurting enough for me to squeeze it ^^;

The anime con is 3 days away.
If I'm not good enough to go, I'm going to spiral into deep depression for at least a year. (until the next con) ^^;
