☼☀ Sunny Tarpe ☀☼☞ Pirate ☠ Captain ☜ ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ xxxJust about the time Sunny found the first aid kit (on the top shelf of the closet), the boat started leaning heavily to one side. How did Sunny know? Well, she'd been standing on the tips of her toes to reach for the first aid kit, and just as she gripped the handle, the entire content of the top shelf showered down on top of her, making her crash down to her already hurt back. For a few minutes, Sunny simply lay there, taking the pain. Finally, the pain of the floor pressing her splinters farther into her back, and the weight of the heavy boxes and items in the closet made her cry out in pain. Above the mess, incoherent mumbling could be heard, then a clearer, "...no Safa!" Sunny's solid board of sunlight appeared between herself and the junk, and she used the board to cart it off of her, then rolled to her side, groaning in pain. Again, she rested for a minute before shakily pushing herself to her feet, the first aid kit still in her hand. First a sea king, then the closet... why is everything attacking me today? Pushing herself off the floor and to her feet, Sunny wobbled a bit at first, unaccustomed to walking on slanted ground. With one hand on the wall, she peeked her head out of the cabins to see what it was. She brightened when she realized it was Alka, and she didn't appear to be too injured. Still, she was a little worried. Looking to Danny, she asked, "...you don't think she can sink us like that, do you?"

Danny's head raised to what sounded like a scream from below deck. She thought it might be Sunny, and began to grow worried. Just how bad were her captain's wounds... They obviously were worse than the gash on her leg, but to what degree? With a grunt, Danny slowly pushed herself up; determined to investigate. But, by the time she had reached the doorway, Sunny's head poked out from inside. When spoken to, her gaze trailed over to the giant mermaid. Could she sink us? Danny asked herself, and could find no way to answer. "I'm not sure, but this guy seems to want to help." she replied, cocking her thumb in the man's direction.

 Hiro pulled him self up over the railing after getting his response- after slipping and landing on his head, before rolling and landing on his back... He quickly jumped up, walking into the cabin Danny's voice came from. Tho when he entered he arched an eye brow at Sunny. "what are you doing in your condition? shouldn't you be resting like her? go lay on your stomach and I'll get the splints out, I'll take care of her while you do so" He said referring to Danny. Sure his medical skills weren't the greatest in the world, but he'd been working for the navy so long he could very well pull it off... Right?

Danny nodded as the man questioned Sunny. The girl really did look awful, and she had to agree with what he said. She did need to lay down. But, when he mentioned taking care of Danny first, she didn't hesitate to protest. "Take care of her first, she needs the attention more than I do." Without giving the man a chance to tell her otherwise, Danny fled the room calmly.

Alka Anarchy
Alka had been laying quietly on the deck of the ship....more accurately, laying on the ship itself, while they tended to each other. I...see...well, at least they're forming bonds. That's....good. Time for me to....bow out, let them go sailing as they want. Kinda wish they wouldn't cross the....line without me...they won't survive if they do, but...I have no energy...nothing left. I thought I could take one out and protect them as I needed to.....I'm too weak though....can't take a sea king out, even after it was wounded. Really....useless. One of Alka's hands reached forward and pushed the ship back towards the other side to try and balance it while she removed one of her arms from it. Yes, there was damage to the ship, but it should probably float. If not, they could join her, though she hoped that it would hang on to a nearby island....if there was one. The balance at this point was no contest, and her weight dragged her down. In an attempt to try and keep the ship level, she lifted her wrist and slipped off. Oh, so that was it, then? Probably for the best. No one could reach her at these depths. She serenely continued sinking, just no energy to really continue or do anything besides let gravity take over and well....breathe. They would get along, and perhaps....perhaps if she could be strong enough, she might find them again. And here I thought I was the strong one. Carry on, I'm sure they'll find you again, so at least...get stronger. I need food....I need to rest...something.

It did hurt to stand up straight, but otherwise she'd be okay, right? It wasn't too incredibly bad... Sunny cocked her head to the side and thought about what'd happened. She'd fallen from a large height with enough force to break the deck. Yeah, there was probably a need for immediate medical attention. "Fine, just try to hurry so you can look after Danny." On her way back to the bedrooms, where her sister was sleeping soundly in a hammock, a small pool of saliva wetting her pillow. Sunny rolled her eyes at her twin's habits, and started towards a low hammock to lay down on when the ship rocked violently. "What was that?"

Hiro nodded, but before he could tend to the other girl, she had already vanished, as had Sunny. He stood there with a blank look on his face for a moment before he fell back as the ship shook. He ran out only to see Alka start sinking as he jumped over board... Clearly not thinking... "Akla!" He yelled hitting the water as he tried his best to swim down. Grabbing onto a strand of her hair. He tried his best to pull her up... Tho knew how pointless it was... Never the less... Thought that counted right? His left eye twitched slightly as he finally let it out, exhaling under water as a large swarm of bubbles floated up and out from his mouth as he tried one last tug at Alka's strand of hair before letting go and quickly and violently kicking/swimming/struggling to get back tot he surface... He only JUST made it as he inhaled with a blue face, wading in the water while breathing heavily.

When Hiro popped up, she frowned and called, "Hey, Hiro, what happened?" With her brows furrowed together, she noticed that Alka was no longer thrown over their ship. Rather that was a good or bad sign, Sunny didn't know. Maybe she's...? Sunny shook her head; she didn't know. She just didn't get it. "Where's Alka, and are you okay?" Sunny glanced around for Danny. On the upside, she thought, it might be nice to have someone who can swim around.

Hiro turned his body in the water back towards the ship as he looked like he was about to burst into tears. "she sank!" He said making his way back to the ship. Slowly climbing back up the side for a second time. "And the ship's Keel is so poorly constructed that we'll sink if we don't get to land soon... I don't know the area... so I hope you've got a navigator..." He said taking a seat. "I can construct a tiny ship with help... but I won't be able to make anything big enough for Alka... not without her help of course..." He said already making mental blue prints. "if you do have a navigator, ask that they take us to an island with no inhabitants and lots of wood" He said sitting as he looked up at Sunny."oh and I'm sorry about my offer earlier... I wasn't really thinking how weird it would be for you to have a man help you with such a task" He said rubbing the back of his head as he smiled. "Once we land, that other girl can help you while I work on making the new ship" He said. "So long as we don't go to far tho... I think Alka should be able to find us..." He said.

By the time the man had came up, asked if the crew had a navigator, and informed them they needed to go to an island with no inhabitants; Danny was already on it. Treatment or not, she had a job to do. Her leg would just have to wait. "I'll get started." She told them before walking towards the mast. The hybrid form was best for this kind of work, so when she finished transforming, she began to scale the mast with her claws, letting down the sails as she went. The strain of climbing probably made her leg bleed again, but she didn't seem to care, that, or she was good at pretending not to notice.
Swinging down from a loose line in the rigging, she then limped into the room which she believed to be the navigator's cabin. It took a minute or two, but eventually she found a map for the South Blue. Unfortunately, no log poses were on board... she'd have to do this the old fashioned way. Walking outside again after picking the nearest uninhabited island, she made walked up to the aft deck and took the helm in her hands. Lining up the bow with the direction they wanted to go, they set sail.
