Okay, I had to let off steam somewhere. Hear me out, will ya?
Lelouch is DEAD. It annoys me whenever people post the 'Lelouch is Alive!' thing as a forum. He's dead. If he was alive, that would ruin the entire plot of the anime. He sacrificed himself to stop Brittania. If Lelouch used some weird trick to stay alive, then he wouldn't be a hero. That would be lying, cheating, and would destroy the sadness of his death. I've watched his death a million times, and cried a million times. I'll probably be the biggest Lelouch fangirl you'll ever see, but let's face the facts: he's DEAD.
There you have it. I don't want any whiny fangirls. Comment if you like.

Hmm. I guess it's just really up to the fan to believe weather he's alive or not. It's their opinions, cause there was never an official announcement on if he was alive or not.. i guess we'll just have to find out in R3 smile

What if, hypothetically, lelouch is alive? I mean sure it might mess up the plot but what if, (again hypothetically), it was intend mess up the plot or it might be a part of the plot that we just never thought of. As for the lying part whats new about that? He lied to nunnally, and all of the black knights about his identity and everyone might have been sorry about his death but after awhile they might say he deserved it (in my opinion he did deserve it cause of his actions but it was part of his plan to make a better world so in a ironic way he didn't deserve it).

in my opinion, the ending was perfect. i 100% agre with Rena. Lelouche may be dead, but Zero, the political symbol of justice, lives on to spread anti-Darwinism across the world, keeping the legacy of the united federation of nations alive. yes pretty boy lelouche died, but he did to prove a point. not just that but he also eliminated the power of geass which bends free will, an act against humanity. Lelouche HAD to die, after enslaving brittania. im not saying Schneizel was right, im saying that the dictatorship lelouche sought out was wrong and needed to be eliminated, and who better than Zero to eliminate him? enough ranting for me, the point here is he had to die, or else the end wouldnt have been perfect.

Watch me bull-crap everyone xD Hypothetically, who says that randomly killing himself made the Britannians realize their mistakes and suddenly start recognizing the "Elevens" as human beings? Think about it. Okay, so this tyrant emperor commited suicide. Everyone was happy, both Britannians and the Japanese. But that ONE death won't exactly change everyones lives and way of life. Besides, if Lelouch still needed the 'Zero' figure as hero, then obviously the Japanese still need Zero. Just something to reflect upon ^^ So who says that he sacrificed himself and actually stopped Britannia? You talk as if he's a hero, but I don't see him as one. I rather see him as a martyr, dying for his belief that everything will be happy-go-lucky the moment he dies. ANYWAYS, yes, Lelouch is dead. It is quite annoying seeing everyone deny it. Didn't the creator come out and say "He's dead"?
