* You must have a valid ticket to THE Charity Midsummer Splash event and be listed in "THE Ticket Holders and Donators are Loved!" thread to be eligible to win.
* Please PM your poems to delphine17.
* Judging will take place on July 4th, so all poems must be posted by July 3rd. See next post for details on judging.
* No hate-based language or profanity. Remember Gaia rules and Terms of Service apply here, too.
* Feel free to comment and to offer each other feedback in the form of constructive criticism - your fellow poets appreciate it.
* First Place Prize: 50,000g

Judges procedures:
On July 4th, please read through all poems and PM your ratings to delphine17 for each poem.
Please give each poem a unique rating from 1 to 10, using tenths of a point as needed.
All judges' ratings will be averaged and the winners will be posted in the first post.

a white flower, a graceful sea mammal
as lovely and sweet to see
as helpful and charming to talk to
as wonderful a friend as could be asked for.

All those days we sat in the sun,
Making new memories and remembering old,
Those woods we explored, those jokes we made,
One had silly string, one had paint,
The last one laughed at took cover,
MEA Forever.
Cats and hockey,
The short one who's artsy
The one who went North,
The 'Best' half of the heart
MEA Forever.
Guinea pigs and computers,
The busy schedule; hobbies never cease.
The one who remained behind.
The connecting 'Friends' puzzle piece.
MEA Forever.
Running and reading,
The red-head that's smart,
The one who went East
The 'Forever' sign on her half of the heart,
MEA Forever.
One lost a friend,
One lost a dream,
One lost a father.
We all grieved together.
MEA Forever.
Now all I can do is remember the past,
Remember the dreams,
And hold on to the hope that this too, will pass.
