Michael smiled back at Kaito. What the f*ck am I doing here? Michael sighed, These guys are practically human, so why are they put through these tests?
Michael looked at his watch and saw that his shift was over. "Sh*t. I'm not supposed to be in the lab after my shift!" Michael panicked when he heard the footsteps of other scientists coming his way. He hid behind some supply boxes until the passed. He thought they were going to just pass by, but they stayed for some pointless tests. "So how are you doing today, blue boy?" one of the scientists smirked.
"Why are you going to take blood samples?" the other asked, "We have some from yesterday that are still being analyzed."
"Because, moron. It's like a stress ball, and chief's been ridin' my a** for the past week."
"Whatever. Hey, you know that new guy the chief hired a few weeks ago?"
"The physicist? Yeah, I know him. I hate him too. That guy doesn't give a sh*t about this work, but he still stays. And he's always talking about ethics and stuff."
"Ethics?"
"Yeah. He keeps bringing up some random BS about old genetics studies that were banned for morality reasons. What does that have to do with this? And another thing... What the hell?" the scientist stared at the pencil and paper in Kaito's hand. "That damn space-case dropped his crap in the cage. What a moron!" he laughed. The scientist reached into Kaito's cage and snagged the paper from Kaito. Just for added entertainment, the scientist took the pencil and jabbed it into Kaito's hand until it drew blood.
"Dude, what are you doing? Chief's not gonna like you messing with the subjects."
"You saw it too. He came at me, it was self-defense."
"Come on, what if he get's sick because of the lead?"
"It's graphite, dumbass. It's not poisonous."
The scientist just shrugged it off and followed the other one out the door.

Lose our way [ Kaito was about to answer but froze when the scientists, the other ones at least, came in and started talking. Talking about the chief. Talking about blood tests. Then before he knew it and had a chance to react, he felt a pain that immediately sparked in his right hand. He sucked in air and then bit his lip and grabbed at the hand, but more than ever glaring up at the scientist. Glaceons lived in the forests high up north of Mt. Coronet, and like their cousin Jolteon, they can make the fur on their bodies stand up like needles. This is what happened to Kaito, except it wasn't as visible because where fur was, normally, was human flesh. He knew better than to do anything or else he would be in for it. ]

Michael walked back over to Kaito's cage with a depressed look on his face. He buried his face in his palm as he sat down in front of Kaito. "I'm so sorry," Michael said, "I wish I could help you, but..."

Lose our way [ Kaito looked at Michael and shook his head. "It's okay.." He said quietly. To him, Michael looked more beaten up about it than he was himself. He wasn't sure what to do except for what he'd seen others do. He reached a hand out from between the bars and patted the psych's back. A small smile spread across his lips. "Just a scratch." ]

Easily ignored by nearly everything, the Audino Vocaloid tried to peered through the iron bars of his own cage that he claimed silently as his own. By almost never raising his voice along with speaking completely, he was always ignored by the scientists strangely.
He sat quietly until he heard a few barge in a lot about the chief and taking blood. He pressed himself closer to the bars to catch a glimpse of them. He happened to see them stab something into the cage. Being at a strange angle away from the cage that the scientists he could barely see anything. But he could strangely tell that whatever was in that cage was hurt. Knowing that he could heal it, Luki tried another chance at seeing what was inside of said so cage. He couldn't see it. Tough luck, he wouldn't be doing anything again today again.
Another scientist, one from earlier, reappeared and started talking with whatever was in the cage again. The Audino Gijinka sat back in his cage. The thing in that cage surely must be popular today. He pulled his knees up to his chest and wrapped his arms around it. He might as well attempt to catch a flew Zs or at least try to get comfortable.
