Era & Riley Era smiled in thanks to Javs before he disappeared once more, most likely headed back to the hospital where the others were. She wished she could be with them too, but the Gardevoir had been right, her Teammates likely did need her. He'd mentioned Ethfael specifically, and the Pikachu wondered how he knew her partner. The Dragonair had never mentioned knowing him, but then again there hadn't really been a need to. She began to worry as she looked around and didn't see the dragon, that terrible gripping uncertainty grabbing at her once more. Last she'd seen he'd been coiled around...Riley. Era began to panic, seeing no sign of either of them anywhere. The one thing that came to her mind was the hospital, sometimes those who were badly injured were taken directly to the hospital via Teleport so they could perhaps both be there. The Pikachu's heart leaped to her throat, and she mindlessly collected the rewards, her thoughts on what could have possibly happened. She looked around one last time and then she caught sight of a heap of fur lying off to the side in the shadows and she raced over to it, placing the items she held gently down to the side as she began to approach it. "Riley?" she said softly, reaching a tentative paw toward the Eevee.
Riley lay on the floor, his head buried in his paws and his body quivering slightly as it was wracked by his muffled sobs. The Eevee's cloak was cast off to the side and his hat had fallen to the floor as he lay there, wishing the world away. As Era placed her hand on him he cringed away from her touch, his sobs increased in frequency. Era swallowed nervously, sitting down on the ground beside Riley as he cried, saying nothing but instead just sitting there, running her paw along his back as the rest of the Guild made their way out. She didn't mind, just wanting to make certain that he would be alright. The Eevee finally leaned his head on her, his fur bearing tear stains from the sadness that still poured from his eyes and cried even more. He didn't hold in his sadness, allowing the tears to flow freely to the floor as he sobbed on the Pikachu, unable to do anything else. The sadness was drowning Riley within it, and so he clung to Era in a last prayer to keep himself sane.
After a while had passed, perhaps a few minutes, perhaps a whole hour, Era stood up meeting Riley's eyes. He looked so sad that it threatened to break the Pikachu's heart, but she kept a calm face, staying steady for his own sake. She turned and headed over to where his cape lay, lonely on the ground. Gently she picked it up and brushed it off, folding it to hold in her paw. She turned back and reached down to pick up the discarded hat as well, carefully setting it on top of the folded cape. At last Era turned back to Riley, her gaze gentle. Extending a paw to him, she put on a smile for the Eevee. "Let's go home," she said to him. Riley looked at her with surprise, tears still running down his face. He carefully raised a blood stained paw to place on Era's own and stood, eyes locked on hers. They stood there for a moment in silence, and then they left the Hall, Riley following behind Era as they made their way back.

  ♠ Aloura ♥ Lavicus ♣
Aloura was somewhat started as two pokemon she thought hadn't been there before attacked the fox pokemon. She was certainly unsuspecting of the aid, but it was not at all unwelcome. It kept the large creature distracted an extra moment that it may have used for attack. Thus, before their large opponent could raise a paw to institute said counter attack, she began to fade much like the dinosaur like poekmon Aloura had been up against not very long ago. She could feel relief filling her as the phantom thinned into nothing. The relief became almost an explosive feeling as she looked around to see that all the other grayish poekmon had disappeared as well. There would be no further attacks. Just at that moment there was an odd sensation due to the strange properties of teleportation and they were back at the guild.
Lavicus's eyes opened blearily as the considerably warmer temperatures thawed his frozen blood. His head was rather fuzzy from the experience but he faintly recognized the settings. He was back at the guild, he though. "Lavicus," said a somewhat familiar voice. His newly assigned partner he recalled, reaching back to the memories before his black out. Aloura. "Do you sleep still?"
"No," the seviper responded simply, wondering again at her strange wording. Lifting his head, he glanced over his partner. There was a cut on her side that hadn't been touched. He sighed. She should at least have the common sense to take care of herself. You need to have that treated at the hospital," he indicated the wound. "Treated? Hospital?" the absol replied, puzzled. Lavicus didn't respond for a moment, tiring to decide whether or not she was joking. When it became apparent that she wasn't, he explained, bemused at her naivety "Cleaned and bandaged. Healed. At the building where there are doctors" he assumed she didn't know what doctors were, and added, "People who can heal.” She nodded, seeming to understand. "Healed, yes. I was waiting for you to become alert. You must also come to the... the hos.. hosbitail." she stumbled tentatively over the word. Lavicus shook his head. His upbringing had taught him to avoid and distrust hospitals. Whenever it was possible, he would use his own natural treatments. He didn't need to go to the hospital to have some doctor tell him what he already knew, he'd broken a rib or two, and give him the treatment that he would give himself- rest and a splint. “I can take care of myself. I will be in our team room.”
Aloura looked slightly hurt. She had waited beside him until he had waken up, worried, and now he was simply going to go off to their room? How could he command her to the hospital but not go himself when his injures were so much worse? She was not going to go if he refused to. Defiantly she stepped upto the snakes side. You could see the broken ribs slightly disforming his long, lean body as he slithered, but he didn't so much a flinch. When the seviper noticed Aloura he stopped, moving his body so that he could position his head as high as hers. ”What are you doing?” he asked, irked, his dark red eyes glinting dangerously. “If you have refused to take yourself to the healer, I shall as well,” the absol responded, her eyes shinning stubbornly. “Aloura, you will go to the hospital,” Lavicus hissed.
“Not unless you permit yourself to go also.”
“You have no reason to avoid the hospital. My people do not like them.”
“You are acting as...” she searched for the word, “a hypocrite.”
Lavicus hissed again, become more and more annoyed at the snow furred pokemon. “Aloura...”
“No, she cut him off, “We are partners. We are together as ice and snow. I will not venture there alone.
“As you wish,” the seviper said darkly as he gave in to the stubborn creature. The argument was not worth it. He could easily tend to her himself. He wasn't going to give in completely, however. “I will treat you myself. You have to go collect our reward, however.”
Aloura had been told about the reward. She had no personal interest in it, but she supposed they ought naught leave it. She did not know what it was, but perhaps it would assist them later. She didn't like to leave Lavicus after having just somewhat won an argument about not leaving him, but she supposed this was the best she could do. “I am agreed,” she said finally.
Lavius nodded his consent. “I will be in the team room.
After watching for a moment to see where the other poekmon who had their things were coming from to make sure she was headed to the right place. As soon as she figured out where she was going, she trotted into the building. The egg she received she handled with the utmost care. As uneducated to the world as she was, she knew very well what an egg was. She'd never seen an egg other than an absol's egg, but they were all much the same thing and needed the same care. On the other hand, she had never heard of anything like the TM before. None the less treated it gentility.
Balancing the two things carefully she made her way back to the team room. Having only visited it once before, it was a wonder she didn't lose her way. She did make it back however, and Lavicus was there. After he made sure that the both of them were treated the team settled down to rest for a while. It had been an interesting first day to say the very, very least.
